Adventure hiking trip

Just come back from the weekend adventure hiking trip in paradise national park. Was amazing and beautiful especially in Autumn. Hiking with a twist. I can’t thank Martin enough, everything you expect from a guide and much more. Extensive knowledge and a great person. I very rarely go back to the same place twice however will definitely book a different trip back in Slovakia in the near future. Solo travelled. Made some fantastic memories with people I would now consider good friends. 10/10. Thank you so much.

Incredible time in Slovakia

I recently got back from a 6 day trip with Slovakation and had an incredible time! We were in a group of 6 and explored the main national parks. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with a great mixture of hiking and personal time to relax afterwards. The accommodation was fantastic and the food was delicious. Huge thanks to Patrik for being a fantastic guide, especially as he went out his way to go back up one of the peaks, after the clouds cleared at Mala Fatra. We had freedom as a group to go on ahead if you wanted some alone time when hiking, but always felt safe knowing Patrik (our guide) was nearby. Communication was clear and responses were quick in case of any questions I'm hoping to go back again on another tour in the near future Thanks Patrik and Martin for an amazing holiday! :D

Fantastic time in Mala Fatra

I had a fantastic time on the Mala Fatra winter hiking trip. Amazing country and friendly, helpful people... especially Martin - an expert local guide and always willing to help and answer our endless questions :-) The cable car up the mountain was a great start and then the scenery and adventures from there were just brilliant. The people in our group were like-minded, easy to get on with and enjoy the experience together. The accommodation also exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Amazing 4-day tour

I had an amazing 4-day hiking tour with Slovakation. Martin, our tour guide is a great guide and person, full of fun and interesting stories. I highly recommend Adventure Hiking in Slovakia with Slovakation. It was one of the most rewarding trips I have done. Patrik was such a fun & helpful guide. He made sure that everyone felt safe, especially when it came to the ladders & catwalks (I conquered my fear of ladders & edges!!!). There was clear communication before we arrived in Slovakia & throughout the trip, Patrik was also available for us in our free time if we needed anything. I hope to return to Slovakia one day and would do this tour again!

One of the best experiences of my life

Slovakation has been one of the best experiences of my life. A perfect way to immerse yourself in the Slovak community, experience some of the most breathtaking views and meet some awe-inspiring people. Our group was lead by Jan Mako and he is one of the kindest, hilarious and loving people. He made the whole group feel comfortable and at ease, came up with the most hilarious one liners and made the whole trip feel like a family experience. I could not recommend this trip more and I hope to meet Jan again soon!

Winter hiking tour

I had a great time on the Mala Fatra winter hiking tour. Martin did a great job of arranging all logistics smoothly, expertly adjusting the hiking routes in accordance with the weather conditions, and also informing us about the area and answering all our questions. All 3 of the hikes were extremely beautiful and enjoyable, and the guesthouse we stayed at was also lovely, with delicious meals and friendly staff.

Sure, we always choose accommodations, which are in compliance with Slovak regulations. Furthermore we also try to choose small local business with great reviews.
