Tour Overview
Mardi Himal is out of the way gems and little known trekking destination in Nepal. Lying south to one of the most popular trekking route; Annapurna Base Camp, very few trekkers has explored the rugged yet beautiful trail route to Mardi Himal.
This trek can be a best route for trekkers who love to have fewer crowds of people even during the favorable seasons unlike other treks. The chirping of the birds and walking under the shades of trees provides the unique taste of trek which is very uncommon in other trail.
The major highlights of Mardi Himal Trek are Mardi Himal Base Camp, traditional Nepali villages, people’s lifestyle, up close view of the mountains including Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli and Mt. Machhapuchre, green lush forest throughout the trail, to name a few.
Mardi Himal Trek is a blend of easy and moderate trek that largely depends on your trekking experiences. Moreover, it can be the best option for beginners to challenge the high altitude adventure. The maximum altitude for the trek is 4,250 m at the Upper view point or the 4,500 m at the Mardi Himal Base Camp.
The panoramic view of the mountains; Annapurna South, Himchuli and Machhpuchhre (Fishtail) will fill your heart with every spirit of adventure. Indeed, the flora and fauna, the green rich forests of Oak and Maple and the gorgeous national flower Rhododendron along the trails cannot be forgotten easily. Mardi Himal Trek is simply the best trek not only for magnificent mountain views, but also to discover the traditional village life and a true countryside of Nepal.
