Fantastic tour of Victoria Falls, Kruger National Park and Cape Town

23-Jan-2025

What a fantastic tour that my son & I had with Graham. Jakes was so communicative & answered any questions I had prior to our trip. He made some changes to our trip to accommodate my son & I (thoughtful). From the first day of our tour, from there it set the momentum & the experience we were about to have. Graham was a wonderful driver, he was so knowledgeable about his country & I learnt so many new facts about the history of South Africa. The itinerary was fantastic; a few suggested upgrades on some of the accommodations otherwise perfect! Hands down, this tour was the best way for us to see Southern Africa. So many hidden gems that I would otherwise not have known about. Thank you Jakes & Graham for the most wonderful personal tour for us.

a memorable 12-day journey

10-Oct-2024

Amatungulu Tours South Africa delivered an exceptional experience for our group, and we can't recommend them highly enough! Our guide, Jakes, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He picked us up in Johannesburg and expertly guided us through a memorable 12-day journey. Jakes's extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor made the trip both informative and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to tailor our experience, including ensuring we got a chance to see one of the Big Five animals on our last day in the park. His recommendations were always spot on, and his spacious, air-conditioned vehicle made our travels comfortable. Jakes' laid-back yet professional approach made us feel at ease throughout the tour, and he always had our best interests at heart. Thanks to him, we have cherished memories from our time in South Africa. Amatungulu Tours and Jakes' exceptional service will certainly be recommended to all our family and friends!

Incredible experience with top-notch staff

14-Nov-2024

The safari was beyond amazing--I saw lions less than five feet from our vehicle, a leopard strolling down the road, and so many other animals that I couldn't keep track. The lodge itself was incredible as well. But the best part was easily our trip organizer, Jakes. He communicated everything in a timely manner and provided every detail possible. I cannot recommend enough going through this booking if you want to make sure you have the best, most well attended to safari. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this three day safari tour we took. We chose this because it seemed to provide a good mix of things - geographical sites, water time, and safari. Boy, it did not disappoint!
