, expertise of Egypt and overall positive

14-Jul-2021

I can say with all honesty that without the incredible guidance, expertise of Egypt and overall positive attitude from Sam, Egypt would have been an entirely different experience. I have done a Travel Talk before through Turkey but this, in comparison, was a far better experience which I would and will continue to recommend to my friends. Despite the fact that we had quite a regimented itinerary which included long bus trips, Sam was able to maintain such a positive vibe throughout the trip (a trip which he repeats tirelessly!) which transcended over us. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, someone who by the end of the trip wasn't a guide, but was a friend. I could not recommend this tour more and insist that anyone put a request in for Sam early as it really completes the experience. 10 out of 10.

great time

14-Jul-2021

I had Mohammad as a guide and he was very knowledgeable. I do wish we were given more time to shop and use the bathroom. Everything was always rushed, but we did cover a lot of things. Also would have like a little more communication on what was going on.

visit Egypt

14-Jul-2021

I have always wanted to visit Egypt, but the country has been on the Canadian High-Risk list for many years. However, I saw that this tour generally had great ratings so we decided to book the trip. ancient egypt tpurs handled everything fantastically, even picking us up at the airport and getting our Visas (that you just get on arrival). There was not a single moment of the trip where I regretted booking a tour group. Our tour guide Mo was incredible and deeply knowledgeable about Egyptian history. I was grateful for the TL:DR history briefs before each attraction so we could go in and actually have an idea of just what we were looking at. Hardly anyone in Egypt speaks English and even driving around involves going through multiple armed security points, so this is not a country to visit [without a guide] if you don't speak Arabic and have some experience with 3rd-world countries. Going with a tour group definitely shielded us from any potentially unsafe experiences. I would highly recommend going with Traveltalk if you are planning a trip to Egypt and looking for a good balance of knowledge and fun!
