ATV Quad Bike Adventure to Maras & Moray (B)
You will be picked up from your accommodation and head to Cruz Pata, a small village where the quad-bike adventure will begin. You will receive a safety briefing before starting off through the countryside to Moray, our first stop of the day. Spot at ancient Inca circular crop terraces and be amazed at the engineering developments of the ancient Inca. You will be able to connect with Mother Earth, (La Pachamama) and learn how the Andean culture lives in harmony with the nature that surrounds them. After receiving some explanations, you will be free to walk around. You will then continue your ride to the “Salineras”, salt mines where you will be able to see local people working in the salt mines. Get free time to shop for souvenirs if you would like. Hop back on your 4x4 quadbike once again and go back to Cruz Pata where you will return your motorbike and equipment and then take a return transfer back to Cuzco.

This naturally beautiful countryside is filled with a wealth of colourful indigenous cultures that have been fused with the influences of the Spanish conquest and modern day Peru over time.
With an ideal climate and millions of opportunities to take amazing photos, this is a day trip from Cuzco that you cannot miss! Pass through the villages of Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero to see ancient Inca archaeological sites and visit indigenous marketplaces with high quality alpaca wool products and handicrafts.
In Pisac, you can admire huge Inca platforms made from polished rock, perfectly aligned around the archaeological site. In Urubamba discover preserved colonial buildings and structures, while in Ollantaytambo you will marvel at one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Peru, unique for its abundance of distinctive architecture. No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations. If you plan to participate in activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, sand-buggy rides, etc please make sure they are included in your policy.
