Day 6: Santa Catalina - Coiba National Park – Santa Catalina

Early in the morning, we will embark on a one-and-a-half-hour journey by speedboat to Coiba National Park. Renowned for its extensive and rich islands, along with the surrounding marine waters, it stands as one of Panama's most remarkable natural gems. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005, Coiba's grandeur and significance lie in its protection of marine, island, and coastal ecosystems. Every corner of Coiba is full of surprises and infinite richness. Within the park, you can snorkel around islands like Granito de Oro and Ranchería, also known as Coibita. During this wonderful experience, you'll witness a variety of colourful fish schools, whitetip reef sharks, nurse sharks, and sea turtles.
Day 7: Santa Catalina – Boquete

Day 10: Bocas del Toro - Coral Cay, Red Frog Island, Dolphin Bay

Wake up early to take breakfast at 07:00, after that be ready at 09:00 to Discover Red Frog Island’s splendour and Solarte’s underwater beauty.
Dip into vibrant marine life and soak up sun-soaked vistas amidst the backdrop of hospitable local culture, arriving to Red Frog Island is one of the most marvelous natural islands in Bocas del Toro. We will head to Bastimentos Island, where we will cross to reach Red Frog Island on the other side. After two and a half hours, we'll set sail for Hospital Point on Solarte Island, a small beach ideal for snorkeling.
Day 11: Bocas del Toro – Stunning Zapatilla Cays

After admiring the dolphins, we head to Coral Cay to explore impressive coral formations and rich marine life, and enjoy a delicious lunch in local restaurants. We then proceed to the Zapatilla Cays, where pristine white sand beaches, exotic tropical vegetation, and crystal-clear waters await. Make sure you reserve your lunch at Coral Cay after dolphin watching.

No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?
Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage.
