Blessed with cultural blends, it is the venue for the famous Pushkar Fair, with people coming from all over Asia to buy and sell breeds of cattle from all across the world. Upon arrival in Pushkar you will take on another form of travel, ancient and far more suited to the desert: camels! Begin a camel safari atop the “ship of the desert,” going through sandy ravines and local villages where we can absorb the harsh-yet-colourful landscape of the Thar Desert. The safari concludes in a tent camp, where after sunset you can enjoy a clear view of the starlit night sky while having a delicious dinner. (Overnight in Pushkar tents.)
