Jewels of Northern Tanzania: Tarangire, Manyara, and Lake Natron

Great 8 days safari experience, saw all big 5s and some bonuses (3 cheetah encounters) in the rain season! Our guide Khalid is experienced and very knowledgeable, he answered all our questions about the animals and knows about the route very well, we can't imagine having this trip without him. I would highly recommend having a safari with Khalid. For accommodations, we stayed at 3 locations of the Africa Safari lodges, Lake Manyara, South Serengeti, and Serengeti Ikoma. All the staffs we have encountered were super nice and helpful and tried their best to meet our needs, kudos to the Africa Safari lodge staffs!

We are now enjoying the second phase of our holiday, relaxing in Zanzibar for 7 nights after an 8 night safari on the mainland. We are a group of 6 friends and have all had the most wonderful time. Our special holiday was made even more special by our guide, Christopher. He looked after us like friends and made sure each one of us had the experience of a lifetime. We have felt thoroughly spoiled and cannot recommend Christopher highly enough. Wonderful.

This is my 6th safari and 3rd one in Tanzania. We visited lake Maynara, Ngorongo crate, lake Natron and Serengeti. Without doubt Christopher is the best guide I've had the pleasure of meeting. His knowledge of wildlife and flora is outstanding. He made sure we saw the big 5 and so much more! Over 70 different bird species and even a Caracal, one of the rarest cats living in the Serengeti. Thank you Christopher. This is a trip I will always remember because of you.

My wife and I came with friends as a group of six. It was our first so we had no idea what to expect… Africa Safari was our chosen company for our tailor made Safari. They were excellent beforehand and throughout our whole trip. All the accommodation, staff and food has been fantastic. Our guide was Christopher… What an amazing guy and guide he is. I can honestly say that he really made the Safari something extra special for us. He looked after us so well and his knowledge of the areas, wildlife and flora is second to none. Thanks to Christopher we managed to see the top 5 as well as many, many other animals and around 100 species of birds. If we ever return to Tanzania for Safari, we will be requesting Christopher’s services. Oh what a great experience did we have with our safari tour to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. We saw the big 5 in only two days and many more. Always helpfull and flexible guide who knows his stuff. Thankyou for the experience! Would definitely recommend.
