Day 1

Location: Udawalawe

Accommodation: Hotel

Receive pick up from your hotel at 7.00am. Leave Colombo for Udawalawe via Embilipitiya and Ratnapura. Arrive at Embilipitiya and check-in at the Hotel. Leave the hotel to visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home to see the elephants feeding. Return to the Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Location: Colombo

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Early breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards embark on a Jeep Safari to Udawalawe National Park. The primary attraction is a herd of approximately 250 elephants which are generally found near the Udawalawe reservoir. It is also possible to spot leopards in the park although this is rare. After the safari, have lunch. Then leave for Bopath Ella (Water Fall) in Ratnapura and enjoy a river bath. Finally commence on your return journey to Colombo and get dropped off at your hotel.

From the time we landed in Colombo to the time we left Colombo back home Buddhika at Ceylon Travel dream and our great Guide Chamila took amazing care of us. Chamila was very informative and treated us like family, we travelled and visited a lot of places in Sri Lanka, he was very caring with my elderly family members and gave us an excellent tour around Sri Lanka. Ceylon Travel - One Stop solution for Sri Lanka

Having decided fairly early on, Sri Lanka was set as our go to place for the honeymoon having an optimal mix of land, water, mountains with lush greenery. All research conducted pointed towards having a tour guide for ease of travel and arrangements, and thats when we stumbled upon Ceylon travels (having also heard of them through a friend) Our experience with Buddhika, from Ceylon travel and dreams has been nothing short of extraordinary. He was incredibly patient in hearing our interests, highly accommodating of our proposed changes in the journey and always willing to find the solution. He not only provided us with the optimal route for our 10 day trip but also booked plausibly the best hotels within our budger. We have had the best trip of our lives, all thanks to Buddhika, and his excellent tour guide who I would rate amongst the best in Sri Lanka. The tour guide (also the driver) whose name was also Buddhika is a very kind hearted man, and took care of us like family. Overall, this trip far exceeded our expectations and cannot wait to be back with the wider family, and obviously doing all the arrangements through Ceylon. ...more ...less
