Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
Please ladies for the visit of the Monastery you need a skirt and the gentlemen long trousers.

1. The guide was exceptionally friendly, showcasing an extensive knowledge of both the historical sites visited and Greece as a whole. This added a significant and positive dimension to the entire experience. 2. The overall organization of the trip was very good. It was all wonderful, from accomodation to the meals. The tour guide and the driver, were excellent, the ancient sites, well no photos can do it justice, you must walk them to appreciate them. ❤️ I would recommend this tour.
