11-Jun-2024

We had an amazing time up in the mountains with Pratip ( guide) and Raju (sherpa). They made sure that we were having the best time along the way and encouraging us when the steps feel like never ending. The energy these 2 have is so contagious that it made the trek seemed so easy.. will defo book with them again ( if ever we go back!). ...more ...less

A Spectacular Experience!

30-May-2024

Our 5-day Trek to Annapurna Base Camp and back is such an experience. I would say it could be around the top of my 2024 highlights! My thighs and calves may be stiff and slightly sore today at day 5 but it is all worth the discomfort. Like one of the trekkers that we’ve met in one of the teahouses said before we reached the base camp, “What you’ll see up there will stay in your memory forever.” He is dead right! We were blessed to have an amazing clearing at sunrise when we stayed at the basecamp despite the huge movement of clouds that easily covers the view in a matter of minutes, given that their rainy season has started, we definitely were gobsmacked standing in the middle of 6 mountain peaks in a 360-degree view. Our companions Pratip and Raju have been so amazing in our 5-day journey. Pratip met us the night before the start of our trip to brief us on what to expect and entertained all our questions for a better understanding of what is to come for us. Day 1 was already shocking watching how Raju carried our shared pack of around 20 or so kilograms up the millions of steps we had to climb. It was so handy having them around to assist us in our needs and bridge the gaps in any communication barriers with the locals. They both treated us very well, making sure that we were not left alone at any stage during our daily hike, pacing with us and offering any ounce of help to make our trek manageable. We were kept informed the whole time and engaging with them was a delight. We seemed to have hit-it-off really well from the get go. Cordial Trek did an outstanding job to plan our trek. Our teahouse stops were most ideal for our pace, which definitely suited me personally. Getting to stay in the Annapurna Base Camp for a good amount of time gave us better odds to get a clear view of this part of the Himalayas than a quick drop by. We arrived at the base camp at around 2pm on the 3rd day which was a lot of time to explore the place and hope for a good view. The clearing only happened at dawn just in time of the sunrise at 5:12 AM where we saw how beautiful God’s creation is on this side of the world. I would definitely recommend them for your travel plans in Nepal most specifically what I have personally experienced, the 5-day Annapurna Base Camp Trek from Pokhara. ...more ...less

Amazing tout to Annapurna Base Camp

28-Apr-2024

Before arriving in Nepal, I searched for many offers and ended up choosing this company's offer for my (group) trip. It wasn't just for the 'good offer' but also for all the email and WhatsApp exchanges. I needed a customised programme, adapted to our needs, and Cordial Trek was just available to discuss all the details and also to adapt all the logistics. It was a magnificent 5 days of trekking Annapurna Base Camp Trek e, city tours and Bhutan again. I would like to thanks for all the attention to Rijal Rameshwar (boss), the guide on the trek and in Pokhara, Prakash, responsable, friendly and fun, and to the guide Sonam during the days in Bhutan, professional and attentive to our needs. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so enjoyable. ...more ...less
