Day 1 : ARRIVAL SAN JOSE – LA FORTUNA DE SAN CARLOS, ARENAL (120km – 3hrs)

Location: San Jose, La Fortuna de San Carlos, Arenal Volcano

Accommodation Name: Hotel Lomas del Volcán or similar

Upon landing at Juan Santamaria International Airport, a representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Arrive at the small picturesque village La Fortuna de San Carlos, the getaway to the magnificent Arenal Volcano. Check-in to your hotel, and put your feet on at this natural atmosphere surrounded by the fresh rainforests and wild sounds of the jungle. 


Overnight in Arenal.


Day 2 : ARENAL

Location: Mistico Park, Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna Waterfall

Accommodation Name: Hotel Lomas del Volcán or similar

Meals Included: Breakfast

Start your day with refreshing breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your new adventure. Meet your guide at the hotel´s reception and get in the transfer that will take you to the exciting Mistico Park. Discover the Costa Rican jungle from the top of the hanging bridges and platforms, end explore the mystic sound and secrets of this natural phenomenon. Spectacular views on the Arenal Volcano will increase this thrilling experience. An expert guide will teach you about the natural history and will open the doors to the fascinating and colourful tropical rainforest´s world. Your trip will continue with the short walk, to explore the beauty of the La Fortuna Waterfall. Renowned for its 60 meters (197 feet) high falls and its crystal-clear waters will tempt you to take a swim and refresh in its natural pool. Once back in the hotel, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 3 : LA FORTUNADE SAN CARLOS, ARENAL – DEPARTURE SAN JOSE (120km – 3hrs)

Location: La Fortuna, San Jose

Wake up to breakfast at the hotel, and at agreed time check-out and get into your transfer that takes you to Juan Santamaria International Airport.

Requirements

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling. Sun protection, sunglasses, bathing suit, light jacket, raincoat, tennis shoes, water shoes, sandals, a hat or cap and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

  • Please be advised that the airport departure transfer is a shared service with an estimated arrival at the airport between 12:30 and 13:30. If you need to arrive at the airport earlier, an upgrade to a private transfer is necessary (available at an additional cost)
