During your climb, make sure to be on the lookout for the unique vegetation that inhabits the area.
Your finishing point is the edge of the Sierra Negra Volcano’s crater, this volcano is still active. Once at the edge of the crater, you will have spectacular views of the crater and the volcanoes that surround it. The circumference of the crater is huge, with a diameter of almost 10 km along with its widest point.

Cassandra Weith's Review for 10 Days Galapagos Island Hopping in Santa Cruz and Isabela
31-Jan-2024
What a fabulous tour to Quito, Ecuador, and the Galapagos islands! Thank you so very much for having the ability to have professional folks arranging these tours. Jefferson was a gem from the very start. This was our first organized tour, and he held our hand through the entire process. His communication was superb and his knowledge about the tours, transfers, flights, accommodations, and food was on point. Everything went smoothly, and was exactly as the itinerary that was given to us. The guides on the tours were ultra, professional, and they’re knowledgeable. The culture and the people we dearly treasured. we appreciated the two hotels that were in town and walking distance to everything. The price was right and the quality superb, and the communication was outstanding. I hope Jefferson is a trainer for others that arranges tours and speak to people as he has advanced skills in the area of communication, both written and spoken. We had a zoom meeting prior to the trip, and he was very precise with his words and specific with answers to our questions. We highly recommend the Quito, Ecuador and Galapagos islands trip.

21-Sep-2023
The tour was relaxed and interesting. The hotels clean with courteous staff. The tours professional. What I really liked is the snorkeling. You float in the water and see many different colored fish. The speedboat rides are a bit tedious, but unavoidable. Kayaking in Tortuga Bay is very nice but it is difficult to see the wildlife. All in all a tour that is definitely worth it.

27-Feb-2024
Really enjoyed it. Our guide was Pedro, and he really knew his stuff. The canoe rides and sightseeing were unforgettable. The food and restaurant service was great. The only suggestion I have is to give warning when the power and water are to go off, so we could plan around it.
