Day 1 : Arrive In Beirut, Transfer To Hotel

You will be met at the airport by your guide, who will accompany you to your hotel in the city and help you settle in. You have the day free to explore the city at your leisure or you can get some rest if you've had a long flight.

Day 2 : Beirut, Jeita Grotto, Byblos, Harissa By Cable Car

Your Beirut tour officially starts today. We start things off with a visit to the Jeita Grotto limestone caves, which stretches for over 9 kilometres. The Jeita Grotto caves is home to the world's largest and beautiful collections of stalactites and stalagmites. After spending time marvelling at the Jeita Grotto, we make our way to Byblos, is one of the 20 oldest cities in the world. Byblos has been continuously inhabited ever since it was established in 5,000 B.C. Next, we head to Harissa, a mountainous village which hosts one of Lebanon's most important Pilgrimage sites - The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon. We'll explore the village via cable car, taking in the breath-taking views of the city and its bay. Later today, we'll enjoy a tour of the capital city, indulging in its beautiful architecture, tall modern buildings and we will also explore down-town Beirut, visiting the Corniche, the Pigeon Grotto and the Beirut Souks.

Day 3 : Free Day. Optional Tours Available

You have the entire day at your disposal to explore Beirut on your own today or you can try these optional tours below: Optional Tour 1: Visit Barouk Cedars - Deir El Qamar - Beiteddine Palace We start with a trip to the Barouk Cedar Nature Reserve, located in the Chouf district of Lebanon. Barouk Cedar is nestled on the slopes of the Barouk Mountain. The Barouk Cedar Nature Reserve is an important bird and eco-tourism area, in fact, the reserve is home to approximately 32 species of wild mammals, 200 species of birds, and 500 species of plants. Next, we head to the village of Deir El Qamar, which once served as the Lebanese capital city during the 17th century before we visit the Beiteddine Palace built in the 19th century by Emir Bechir II Chehabi around a former Druze hermitage. The Beiteddine Palace took over 30 years to build and today its considered to be one of the great surviving achievements of Lebanese architecture. Optional Tour 2: Baalbek - Ksara Caves - Anjar This optional tour starts with a visit to Baalbek, also known as Heliopolis or 'the City of the Sun' by the ancient Greeks and Romans. Baalbek is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in the Middle East, with the monument staying intact through wars, earthquakes and much more. Next, we visit the Ksara Caves, which date back to the Roman period. Your guide will take you on a tour of the caves and the winery here, which produces some of Lebanon's finest wine. Lastly, we visit Anjar, an important Umayyad site in Lebanon, which was founded in the 8th century by the Caliph Walid. It is believed that Anjar was once an imperial residence due to its palaces, baths and mosques. It also has remnants of 600 shops, which indicates that the purpose of this settlement was primarily commercial.

Day 4 : Free Time, Transfer To Airport

    Customers may transfer their booking or any Credit on File to another person who satisfies all the relevant conditions to the tour, provided that we are notified not less than 7 days before departure, and the transferee agrees to these booking conditions and all other terms of the contract between us. The Client and new booker are jointly and severally responsible for any outstanding payments and a transfer administration fee of GBP50 / USD75 / CAD100 / AUD100 / NZD100 / EUR75 / ZAR1000 / INR5000 or GBP100 / USD150 / CAD200 / AUD200 / NZD200 / EUR150 / ZAR2000 / INR10,000 if the transfer is made less than 60 days before departure.
