Experience Oktoberfest at the biggest Oktoberfest party outside of the festival itself. This all-inclusive camping experience is a party within a party! This unique package at the legendary Stoketoberfest is all inclusive, so your tent, sleeping bags and sleeping mats are pre-prepared for your arrival, the on-site chefs will cook you a hearty breakfast every morning so your stomach is lined and filled with healthy fuel. The on-site crew & guides will show you the party, both at our campsite and in the beer halls, and make sure you enjoy it. *BONUS - Booking with us gets you the open & unlimited bar at the campsite with all you can drink German beer, Spanish sangria, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee This package is one for the partiers, as well as budget travellers who want an alternative to hostel & hotel packages, as it’s the perfect way to pre-game before the beer halls, or for the almost-all-night after parties (don’t worry, if you want to sleep the parties wrap up around 11pm in the main area and move to the front bar. Bands and Djs who have performed at the camping village in previous years include international bands and DJs like Wicked Things from Australia, Bread Gang DJs from Australia, Mega Events DJs from the UK, Pearl the Girl (DJ set) from Australia, Tropical Zombie from Australia, The Guinness Brothers from Ireland/Portugal, Blank Space and The Moonjacks from the USA, Large Mirage from Australia, and Slim Radio from The Netherlands. The campsite parties were the wildest celebrations outside of the beer halls. Expect even bigger and better for 2024. The campsite is located within the city of Munich and easily connected to the festival by public transportation. You’ll be able to go there (and return) at various times) during the morning or evening with the guides as well as the countless new friends you’ll meet and party with!

Day 1
Location: Munich

Accommodation Name: Stoketoberfest Camping Village
Arrival on your own to Munich with check-in available from 3pm (you will be sent exact instructions on how to arrive, and if arriving early you can leave your bags with reception). Free day to enjoy Munich and the Oktoberfest! Tents start serving beer & food at 10am, and close at 10:30pm. Head back to the camping village for the all night party, or get some sleep.
*Opening weekend the Oktoberfest starts on Saturday. On Friday of the opening weekend you'll have the option to do a walking tour of the city starting at 10am. This tour is a professionally guided 2.5-hour walking tour that will take you to many of Munich’s major landmarks and highlights. You will visit the Frauenkirche, see the world-famous Glockenspiel, go past the iconic Hofbräuhaus, and much more to tick off the main sights of the city's old town. There are other possible tours you can do this day, and even a bike tour.

Brunch with bottomless mimosas provided and free day to enjoy Munich and the Oktoberfest (this is an all day, all night event for most!). After the tents close head back to the camping village for the all night party, or get some sleep.
Non-Oktoberfest options for the day are a trip to the Dachau concentration camp & memorial, a bike tour to cruise around the city and learn its history (and make a stop at one of the world's largest beer gardens!), a visit to some of Munich’s many famous museums, or a trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle, the real life inspiration for the Disney castle. You will be able to book these in advance.

Oktoberfest is free of charge as there are no entry tickets required or any fees to pay other than your beer & food!

Will there be an escort accompanying this tour?
Although this is not a formally guided tour packge (since it's all about the Oktoberfest), there is staff on hand 24/7 at the camping village to provide assistance, answer questions, help in case any situation arises, and lead people to the Oktoberfest.

I'm travelling solo, will there be other people on the trip?
Typically our trips vary in size from small groups (a few solo travelers and a group or two of friends or couples) of around 5-7 people up to around 30 people or so. However, trips also do operate operate even if there is just one solo traveler. The beauty of a Euroadventures trip is that it's about the experience and the destination and through our long time relationships with our partner companies (tours, activities, etc.) you'll always experince the trip and have the opportunity to meet others, and that's both on the tours & activities but also iat your accommodations (if you select the hostel dorm option as you'll be in a great social hostel atmosphere and have the chnace to meet other travelers from around the world). And for those who value privacy and independence, you can book the offered private room options to have your own comfortable room, and be social (or not) with other travlers participating in the tours & activities during the trip.

Do Euroadventures trips get cancelled or are they always confirmed to operate?
Outside of extraordinary circumstances, Euroadventures trips DO NOT get canceled! We always run our trips so you don't need to worry. The beauty of a Euroadventures trip is that it's about the experience and the destination and through our long time relationships with our partner companies (tours, activities, etc.) you'll always experince the trip, and that's whether your traveling solo, you're a few friends or couple(s) traveling together, or there's a large group.

I have friends coming on the trip with me, can we travel and room together?
We take roommate requests and always do our best to make sure that you’re rooming with the friends you’re traveling with. If you’re a large group of friends (larger than the available rooms at the hotel or hostel) then we do our best to make sure your group will be in rooms next to each other or at least on the same floor.

How much luggage can I bring on a trip?
Generally speaking you can have a small carryon type bag or backpack on a bus and a large suitcase or backpack that can go under the bus in the luggage compartment. However, we do advise packing light and minimal (and also keep in mind that your room will have minimal luggage space).

When will I receive all of the trip information like meeting place, time, hostel/hotel info, tour leader info, etc?
24-48 hours before a trip’s departure, or meeting time in the case of a fly-in trip, you will receive an email with all details about the trip.
