Those same peaks make a beautiful backdrop for this hotel and you can enjoy lovely views from the large terrace. Elsewhere, there’s a sauna, bar, and lounge with comfortable armchairs to relax in the evenings. Wifi is available in the communal areas. There’s also a restaurant serving a mix of local and Mediterranean cuisines.

Dolomites

Excellent trip in amazing backdrops mixed with some demanding pistes and terrain. Our guide Martin was very engaging, knowledgeable and inspired confidence. He had time for everyone, and modulated the group well.

WALKING IN THE WESTERN DOLOMITES

I really enjoyed this trip and I would say the highlight for me was the variety of scenery, not just over the course of the week but on each walking day! Stunning limestone towers and very Austrian style rolling meadows with the greatest profusion of alpine flowers I have ever seen each day. Both the leaders were very experienced and a good laugh too. Although some have stated the hotel was basic, I found it clean and comfortable and the food was certainly better than last years TMB highlights trip! Overall a very enjoyable holiday with a lovely group of people and I would thoroughly recommend it.  ...more ...less

A wonderful week in the Dolomites

An excellent week's walking in the dolomites from a charming centre in Campitello. The walks were always interesting and the grade 5 walks were all comfortably doable to anyone with experience of walking in the Scottish Highlands. The use of lifts meant that we were always walking with excellent views and could spent more time at high altitude. Most of the trips were well planned to use the excellent local refugios for lunch which added a bit of luxury to the day's tramp. The hotel was very comfortable and the food was generally good. ...more ...less

A marvellous week in the mountains!

My dad and I have just returned from the Dolomites. We had an absolutely amazing week and I cannot rate it highly enough for keen mountain walkers. With varied walks, beautiful views, excellent guides and cheerful company from fellow hikers, it has been a very memorable week; I am so pleased that i chose this spectacular trip. Thank you to everyone for making it such a happy holiday. ...more ...less

Highlights of the Dolomites

Everyone has their own way of relaxing on holiday. Mine is a physical challenge and the hikes in the Dolomites fulfilled that purpose. The choice of levels were ideal so you could switch between them depending on your energy levels. The group dynamics always seem to work well on these hiking holidays as walkers and nature lovers are great people to be with. Our base in Moena was charming. Be prepared for mountain food which is heavy on the carbs, MEAT & cheese. The refugios in the mountains for lunch stops are brilliant. The best pizza and hot chocolates! Expect every type of weather...it's the mountains after all. Every adventure starts with a tentative first step into the unknown, take yours into the stunning scenery of the Dolomites. ...more ...less

Fantastic hiking against stunning backdrop of limestone.

This was a week of walking to celebrate my return to health after cancer treatment. It was a positive experience on every level. Both the landscape and the company were special. The hikes were challenging (I chose the 5), and all members of our group especially our leader Albert were supportive and encouraging. ...more ...less

Incredible views, great food and superb leaders

An excellent trip that takes in all of the sites and hikes you would want to do in the Val de Fassa. The trip has two types of walking each day - level 3 and 5, the 5s are a good pace and you need to have a fair level of fitness to participate, they also become more technical which makes them very interesting compared to other holidays. You visit the Sasso Lungo group, summit Piz Boe, undertake a ridge walk, hike around the Roda de Vael and the views and scenery is just beautiful from start to finish. The trip has new base at the Hotel Enrosadira in Campitello - the food is absolutely fantastic, as I gather previous travellers had not found the food so good at the last hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect and Campitello has everything you could need. ...more ...less

Amazing trip

It was my first multi-day hiking adventure, and initially, I hesitated, unsure if it was the right choice for a beginner like me. However, it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. Thanks to our exceptional guides, Rob and Jenny, along with a fantastic group of fellow travelers, this journey became truly unforgettable. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Rob and Jenny for their expertise, knowledge, unwavering support, and uplifting encouragement. ...more ...less

Amazing Dolomite Trekking

Great week of level 5 trekking with amazing views. The option of swapping to level 3 if desired was available to us at each evening's debrief which was perfect. Each trek available each day was described and we could chose each evening which group we went out with. Hotel and food was simply wonderful, fabulous hosts! Would go back again in a heartbeat. ...more ...less

WALKING IN THE WESTERN DOLOMITES

This was a great holiday it was the first time I had gone on a guided walking holiday and my reservations about walking with people I didn't know and that they may walk a lot faster or slower soon disappeared as we were split up into two groups and the guides knowledge of the trip was very good ...more ...less
