Some of these animals include leopards, lions and elephants. There are also cheetahs, wild dogs and rhinos. In the late afternoon, head to the accommodation on the western edge of the park. Time for a relaxing swim in the pool and a sun-downer or two before an included dinner this evening!
Kruger National Park game drive: Enjoy a full-day game drive through the southern part of Kruger in our air-conditioned tour bus. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic 'Big 5' - the African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard and rhinoceros. Today's Kruger conservation fee is included in the tour price.
Day 3: Kruger National Park Region: Free Day
Location: Kruger National Park Region
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Today, take the chance to embark on a game drive led by local wildlife specialists in open safari trucks. Choose a half or full-day safari drive and spend time driving in prime game viewing areas, stopping at various waterholes and rest camps. Keep your eyes peeled and your cameras at the ready, watching these stunning animals in the wild is truly an experience to remember. On return to the accommodation, slip into the pool to cool down and relax before enjoying an included dinner.
Day 4: Kruger National Park Region: Free Day
Location: Kruger National Park Region
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Today is your second free day to tailor your Kruger experience to your liking. Choose to go on another half-day, sunrise safari with a local wildlife expert. Location: Three Rondawels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon Viewpoint, Johannesburg
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Leave the Kruger behind and head towards the Panorama Route. This is a famous scenic area in South Africa's Mpumalanga province. Onwards to the Drakensberg escarpment to look out over the Blyde River Canyon from the famous Three Rondavels viewing point. If there ever was an epic view, this is it. Ready your cameras! Afterwards, head to Bourke's Luck potholes. This natural water feature is made up of literally hundreds of potholes and plunge pools, and marks the start of Blyde River Canyon. Afterwards, travel back to Johannesburg. Check in at the hotel, and meet up for farewell dinner and drinks.
Visit the Three Rondavels viewpoint: Visit this spectacular viewpoint and take in views of three famous mountain tops that tower over the Blyde River Canyon. Named after a traditional round-shaped African homestead, the Three Rondavels is one of the major attractions in the area. Various look-out points are sure to offer fantastic photo opportunities.
Explore Bourke’s Luck Potholes: Take a short walk and wander around what has been dubbed "nature's wishing well". See numerous waterholes, plunge pools and impressive rock formations. Visit the information centre to learn more about the natural history as well as the San people, the earliest inhabitants of this region.
Blyde River Canyon Viewpoint: Get one last look at the majestic Blyde River canyon. This must be one of the most cherished and most photographed views in South Africa. See the Lowveld of South Africa with the Kruger National Park and Mozambique in the far distance.
Farewell dinner in Johannesburg: Feast on local cuisine as we sit down for one last special dinner together. You are now in the bustling city of Johannesburg, the second largest city in Africa.

Traveller Comfort - *COACH* tours
We welcome all travellers on our tours but we would like to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible. In light of this, please ensure that you are happy with the below information and level of fitness required.
Expat Explore tries to be as accommodating as possible, however, our tours are unfortunately not designed for people travelling with wheelchairs or severe mobility issues.
Our tours are fast paced because they are designed for you to see the most a destination has to offer. We also want to ensure that you explore as much as possible, which may require long periods without stops on the coach as we drive to a new destination.
We offer walking tours in most cities (up to 3 hours), and a wheelchair is not always a practical option as there are often cobbled streets and stairs on these tours.
For travellers in wheelchairs, you will only be able to store your wheelchair under the coach with the other luggage. Thus, on the long drives between cities you will not necessarily have access to your wheelchair if we make a quick bathroom stop along the way. Please note that travelling with a wheelchair could prove difficult as our coaches don't have wheelchair lifts, as such you will need to be able to board and alight the coach on your own.
With regards to our accommodation, not all hotels have lifts and this means potentially having to carry bags up and down stairs.
For more information regarding traveller fitness please see our Terms and Conditions.
