Meals

Eating is a big part of traveling. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. The above information applies to G Adventures group trips. Please refer to the meals included and budget information for included meals and meal budgets.

Solo Travellers

We believe single travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip. Some of our Independent trips are designed differently and single travellers on these itineraries must pay the single trip price.

Mode of Transport

Travel conveniently using a mix of public buses, private vehicles, boats, and walking, ensuring a seamless journey through diverse landscapes and destinations.

Minimum Age

You must be 18 to travel unaccompanied on a G Adventures tour. For minors travelling with a guardian over 21 years old, the minimum age is 12.

Important Notes

1. As this trip crosses national borders, please be prepared to pay some border fees for certain countries ranging from $1 to $30 USD. Please check with your local embassy or consulate for up-to-date visa requirements, or see your travel agent.

2. COMBO TRIP

Please note that this tour combines with other G Adventures tours. As such, the staff and some travel companions on your tour may have previously been traveling together with G Adventures, prior to Day 1 of your tour. Likewise, some staff and travel companions may be continuing together on another G Adventures tour, after your trip concludes.

3. ACCOMMODATION NOTE:

Please be aware that properties we stay in with only two stories may not have elevators installed and climbing the stairs with your luggage will be necessary.

Group Leader

All G Adventures group trips are accompanied by one of our group leaders, a G Adventures representative, or an expedition team. The aim of the group leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. They will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the countries visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. We also use local guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting- we think it's the best of both worlds.

What to Take

We recommend using a backpack for your convenience, or a medium-sized suitcase if you prefer. A daypack is also essential for carrying everyday items. Space is limited on transportation, so there is a limit of one main piece of luggage per person. You will be responsible for carrying and handling your own luggage.

Spending Money

Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.

The guides and the involvement in local communities. We actually interacted with locals, from the guides to different other people involved in the activities we took. Thus, everything felt authentic.

It's all about the amazing people we met along the way - different backgrounds, nationality, jobs etc and we all turned out to have so much in common (love for travel, for nature, for the planet).

My best friend and I had an amazing trip where we visited so many great places. I felt like the whole experience with G adventures was so organized and well planned out which gave me and my best friend time to enjoy all of the experiences instead of worrying about how to get to certain activities etc. I think the activities presented were so fun, and I really had the best times horseback riding, snorkeling etc. I loved our CEOs and the whole group which also made the trip so unique. A+!

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! From the CEOs to the different cultures and activities to the local food. All so good.

I had the most fantastic adventure with G! The CEOs created such a fun and chilled atmosphere that meant we could relax and simply enjoy the trip with no worries. The only reason why I can?t give a maximum score is because some of the hotel options I think could be reviewed and did not meet expectations but this didn?t affect the overall experience too much!

An action packed adventure to remember, a breath of fresh air and huge relief following the couple of years being stuck in the UK. The CEOs were all fantastic and really enriched the experience as we didn?t have too long in each country their local knowl
