You will see the very best of what this vast yet scarcely populated country has to offer, including spectacular scenery, incredible wildlife and sumptuous food. The trips to the main cities also uncover a fascinating mix of German, British and of course African influences, which adds to this truly spectacular trip. Early morning just after breakfast, we travel to the Waterberg Plateau. It

one of the most peaceful places in Namibia. It is home to over 25 game
and over 200 bird species. On the site of the historic Battle of
Waterberg, at the foot of the plateau, a graveyard serves as a reminder of
a turbulent period in history. Schutztruppe soldiers who died in the
battle fought between the German and Herero colonial forces in 1904
are buried here.

and has about 114 mammal species, of which several are endangered.
Examples of these are the black rhino, cheetah and the black faced

including: Elephants, Lions, Giraffe, Blue Wildebeest, and Zebra, Hyena
and many antelopes. Maybe we will be lucky to also see cheetahs and
