You start from El Calafate early in the morning to enjoy the landscape, the nature, the fauna and the wide variety of birds (trying to arrive to the glacier before everyone). Through the gateways you visit the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, in different viewpoints from different altitudes. Back at the hostel or hotel at 4-5 pm.

This is the classic tour to sightsee the Perito Moreno Glacier and the best option to get an overview and see it from above. A full-day tour through Los Glaciares National Park, in which Perito Moreno lies, it gives you the chance to really appreciate the glacier’s sheer magnitude, as you walk across the Pasarelas (heightened wooden walk ways) along the shores of Lake Argentino. Following the Perito Moreno tour circuit you will finally reach the boardwalks of the Perito Moreno Glacier, where you will have three hours to explore and sightsee Perito Moreno’s enormous 60-meter wall of ice floating on the surface of Lake Argentino.

Breakfast. In the morning – El Chalten full day tour. You will be picked up from your accommodation. Before arriving to El Chaltan the bus will stop at the head of Lago Argentino, to enjoy the view of the lake, tghen at the Parador La Leona for a coffee and the third stop will be at the Lago Viedma lookout. Once in El Chalten you will walk until the Mirador de los Condores lookout to see the valley and the Mount Fitz Roy in the distance. After that, you will have lunch at Rancho Grande (included). After lunch you will be able to walk until El Chorrillo del Salto. At about 4 pm we will be going back to El Calafate to arrive around 7 pm
El Chalten is the capital of trekking in Argentina, voted as the best Patagonian destination by Lonely Planet readers. Just being there is a privilege to enjoy the spectacular landscapes.
