Tour Overview

Langtang Valley is a very close Himalayan Region to Kathmandu valley. Langtang Region Trek is occupied by Tamang and Sherpa people whose religious practices, language, and dress are considerably more similar to those of Tibet than to the traditions of their cousins in the middle hills. Langtang valley treks offer an opportunity to explore the Tamang villages, climb small peaks, and visit glaciers at a more comfortable elevation than other trekking regions. Our trek commences with a bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We start our trek from Syabrubesi. After exploring the region, we trek the same route to Syabrubesi from where we drive back to Kathmandu.

Highlights

  • It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas, including peaks such as Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Shishapangma.

  • Tserko Ri, standing at an elevation of 5,030 meters (16,500 feet), is a prominent peak and a highlight of the Langtang Valley trek

  • Gives you the thrill of an adrenaline rush

  • Less crowd and off-the-beaten trail

  • People and their unique culture

  • Kyanjin Ri is a perfect viewpoint to look over the majestic Langtang mountain range. It is at an elevation of 4328m and quite difficult to reach the top of the hill. Moreover, ascending to the top of the hill is a major highlight of the trek

We took part on the Everest mountain flight and it was smooth from start to finish. We had our tickets brought to our hotel the day before and were supplied transport to and from the airport. Great views from up high and the airline staff were very knowledgable and helpful at pointing out the mountains by name. It doesn’t matter what side of the plane you sit on as the plane will turn so both sides can see. It’s an early start but you will be back at your hotel for breakfast. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

I am very pleased with my experience exploring Nepal for a week thanks to Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. The owner Bishnu Bhatta personally answered all my enquiries in a timely manner even before I came to Nepal. I requested to have a photographer while exploring Kathmandu sights and to experience paragliding while in Pokhara. Bishnu organized and incorporated those requests into my itinerary and they both exceeded my expectations. When I got to Nepal, Bishnu would message me on WhatsApp every day to check on me making sure that everything was going smoothly according to my itinerary. This made me feel secure since I was traveling solo. I was placed in comfortable hotels where I felt safe at all times. I had an amazing personal driver named Bhubi who drove me all over Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara for a week. He was not only professional but also very kind. He went out of his way to accompany me to sights and take my photos instead of just waiting in the car which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to explore Nepal, you would not regret it.

Bishbu Bhatta proved to be an invaluable asset during our time of urgency. Amidst the rush of our Manaslu Circuit trek, we reached out with limited time to spare. They swiftly organised everything overnight, all at a very reasonable cost. Safety precautions were meticulously taken care of and the trek was a great success. Pitam bhai was an amazing guide. During our trek, an earthquake happened and they contacted our families immediately about our safety to ensure full transparency and support. Thanks bro for everything!

**An Unforgettable Annapurna Trek with Bishnu from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures** Our recent trek to Poon Hill with **Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures** was an incredible experience, made even more special by our outstanding guide, **Bishnu**. From the very beginning, it was clear that Bishnu wasn’t just there to lead us along the trail—he truly cared about making the trek a personal and memorable journey for us. His deep knowledge of the Annapurna region, friendly nature, and genuine passion for guiding made all the difference. Unfortunately, I fell ill on the very first night, which could have easily derailed the entire trek. However, Bishnu went **above and beyond** his role, checking on me constantly, offering support, and adjusting our itinerary to ensure I could still complete the journey at a slower, more comfortable pace. His flexibility and concern were remarkable, and without his help, I doubt I would have been able to continue. Despite the setback, we still got to experience the breathtaking sunrise at Poon Hill, enjoy the stunning landscapes, and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Annapurna region. Bishnu’s personal approach, kindness, and commitment to our experience made this trek truly unforgettable. If you're considering a trek in Nepal, I **highly recommend** Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures and, in particular, Bishnu. You won’t just get a guide—you’ll get someone who genuinely cares about making your adventure as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.

Spectacular trek and great organisation Me and my wife visted Nepal for 2nd time after 2 years when we did ACT solo (w/o guide). This time, we decided to go along Manaslu Circuit Trek. It was spectacular: weather, views, people in the mountains, our Guide, Karma, and our Porter, Bupen. The region is slightly different than ACT, the life seems to be more difficult, the goods are transported using mules, but in the end this is one of lifetime adventure even for people who travel a lot to such remote parts of the world. Bishnu and his agency were very supportive from the very beginning, in planning phase, permits, transportation, and provided us great people to accompany us along the MCT trek. At the farewell in Dharepani, where we decided to continue along the Annapurna Circuit route, it was a bit difficult to say goodbye to Karma and Bupen. Great guys, and I wish them all the best! during our last week, we decided to visit Chitwan, and Bishnu organised for us everything again while we were still trekking in the mountains. It was not a problem, for example, to organize another jeep safari to other part of the jungle, instead of an elephant safari, and they were happy to assist. Lastly, we forgot our sleeping bags from the hotel in Kathmandu on the day of departure flight. The Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure agency assisted in sending them back to Europe. We highly recommend these people, as they are nice, competent, and humble at the same time.

If you are ever considering a trek in the Himalayas, you should reach out to Bishnu Bhatta of the Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Pvt. Limited. Three of us, average trekkers who are also seniors, reached out to him because of a very positive experience one of us had. Bishnu took it from there. He tailored the trip to ABC in a way that gave us the confidence that made our trip memorable. We were grateful that he was our guide. He was emotionally in tune with how we felt and knew was needed to do to make the trip a success. He made adjustments as needed. The places he chose for us to stay overnight were very appropriate for our needs. The porters he hired, Bhupen and Bishnu, were a great duo who worked seamlessly with him and us. Looking back, I believe I could not have done it without his meticulous planning and assistance. Safety precautions he took for us bearing in mind our age were truly appreciated! If you are considering a trek in the Himalayas, it will be a blessing to have Bishnu Bhatta and Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure tours on your side! Attached are some memorable pictures we took.
