This tour will provide amazing experience to the historical and most fascinating tourist destinations of South India. This tour starting with the glow of Chennai then we will take you on a journey to the ancient temples of Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. After enjoying the Periyar wildlife and spectacular views of Munnar, then move forward to the backwaters to enjoy the houseboat journey at Alleppey.

Day 1 : Arrival at Chennai

Day 2 : At Chennai

Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour to Chennai, visit the famous Marina Beach (the second largest in the world), Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Fort St.George (the oldest fort in Chennai). Thereafter, head straight to Santhome Cathedral, National Art Gallery, St.Mary’s Church, Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium and People’s Park. Also visit Kalakshetra and Theosophical Society.

Day 3 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram - Chennai (230 Kms / 6 Hrs)
Location: Kanchipuram, Mahabalipuram, Chennai

After breakfast later drive to Kanchipuram the city of 1000 temples and one of the seven sacred cities in India, visit the Kamakshi Amman Temple, The Kanchi Kailasanathar temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple. Ekambareswarar Temple etc. Later continue drive to sightseeing tour to Mahabalipuram, visit the Thirukadalmallai, Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Caves, and Krishna's Butterball. Later back to Chennai for night stay.

Day 4 : Chennai - Madurai (By Flight)

Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, later our representative will assist you at the hotel for transfer to Chennai airport to board the flight for Madurai. Upon arrival at Madurai airport, our representative will assist you at airport for transfer to your hotel for night stay.
After refresh yourself, later proceed for tour to Madurai, visit Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, one of the largest temple complex in India. later visit Thirupparamkunram Murugan, Pazhamudircholai Murugan, and Alagar Kovil Temple. Also visit the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace and Gandhi Museum. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 5 : Madurai - Munnar (170 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Munnar “Scenic hills of Kerala” and en-route enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls of Kerala, with high mountains and the low flying clouds passing by.

Day 6 : At Munnar

Today morning after breakfast at hotel, later proceed for sightseeing tour to Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Old Munnar Town and the town market. Evening enjoy the walk at Tea Estate or free for own activities.

Day 7 : Munnar - Periyar (98 Km/3:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast at the Hotel, check out from the Hotel and drive to Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of biggest wildlife sanctuaries in India's which covers 777 Sq. Km (300 Sq. miles) for a Tiger Reserve.
Upon arrival at Periyar check into the Hotel for night stay. Later proceed for short trip to Periyar, visit Bamboo Rafting & Border Hiking.

Day 8 : Periyar - Alleppey (128 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)
Location: Alappuzha
Accommodation: Deluxe Houseboat.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today morning after breakfast at the Hotel, later check out from the Hotel and proceed for the backwaters to enjoy the houseboat journey for day and night.
Upon arrival at Alleppey check into the houseboat for night stay. Later proceed for backwaters & lagoons on Alappuzha, later lunch at the houseboat. Enjoy the evening with dinner at the houseboat and rest of the day and night at the houseboat.

Day 9 : Alleppey - Kochi (55 Kms / 2 Hrs)

After breakfast at the Hotel, later check out from the Hotel and proceed for the Kochi. Upon reaching Kochi check-in to your pre-booked hotel.

Visit Fort Kochi, Marine Drive, Hill Palace, St.Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Pareekshith Thampuran Museum, Pallipuram Fort, Santa Cruz Basilica, Bolgatty Island, Indo Portuguese Museum.
