Our tour from Tangier to Marrakech starts with pick up from you. Then we will visit the wonderful Chefchouen via several villages and the breathtaking landscapes and views of the Rif Mountains. Chefchouen is one of the most beautiful small towns you can visit in the whole world. The medina of this small town has beautiful architecture and unique colorful buildings and streets. From Chefchouen, the Blue City, we will drive to Fes. The road will go through some amazing mountains and villages where you will enjoy the views and landscapes. We will stop in Volubilis. These are the famous Roman ruins in Morocco. After taking some time to visit this site, we will continue our journey to Meknes. It is another imperial city founded in the 17th century. After a short lunch break and visiting some interesting sites and monuments such as Bab Mansour and Square Lahdim, we continue to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad in Fes.

On today’s tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we start our adventure towards the Sahara Desert through the impressive mountains of the Middle Atlas. During our journey we stop to visit the beautiful town of Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco) and the cedar forest where the Barbary Apes live. Then we will continue to the Merzouga desert through the wonderful Zizi valley, where you will fall in love with the fascinating views and landscapes. Upon arrival in Merzouga desert, you will start your camel trek towards the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will camp, have dinner, listen to the Berber music and admire the endless stars.
Day 6 : Merzouga

Exploring the different desert areas is one of the experiences you will appreciate. That is exactly what we are going to do today. We will visit some places. It starts with the drive to Khamlia village, where we will learn about the interesting way of life and culture of the people. This village is inhabited by people originally from Mali, Sudan and Mali. They were brought here as slaves at that time. The village is also known for its Gnawa music. After lunch, we will drive to the city of Rissani (optional visit), which is historically the first dynasty of the Alouite family (royal family). In the city there are the largest souks where a variety of goods are sold and people from the surrounding villages come to shop. Visiting the souks is a special and cultural experience. Then we drive back to Merzouga. Afterwards we start the camel trek to the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will spend the night and have dinner in a Berber hut under the endless starry sky. You can also listen to the Berber drums and music around the campfire.
Day 7 : Merzouga - Boumalne Dades

On today’s tour from Tangier to Marrakech, the camel man will wake you up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. Then we ride camels and return to the village of Merzouga. Breakfast and shower at the guest house. On the fifth day, we will continue to Todra Gorge and through the incredible mountains of Saghro. In Todra you will have the opportunity to walk through beautiful, narrow and high gorges, which are an attraction for climbers. A nice visit to Todra and lunch. Then we will drive to Dades valley. Overnight stay in a hotel in Dades.
Day 8 : Boumalne Dades - Ouarzazate

After breakfast at your riad, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley, renowned for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Upon arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as African Hollywood, we'll visit the iconic Taourirt Kasbah and have the opportunity to tour the renowned movie studios. After exploring these attractions, you'll check into your accommodations at Hotel Le Petite Riad Ouarzazate.
Day 9 : Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

After breakfast at your riad, we'll journey to Marrakech via the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic site has served as the backdrop for numerous renowned films, including The Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Jewel of the Nile. Continuing our drive, we'll traverse the scenic Tichka Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in Morocco, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Upon reaching Marrakech, we'll check into our accommodations at Riad 107 or a similar establishment, where you'll have the opportunity to unwind and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

On the 9th day of the DESERT TRIP FROM TANGIER we will make an excursion to Essaouira. It is a city worth seeing in Morocco. It takes about 2 hours to reach from Marrakech. Essaouira is known as the city of the wind, which is a perfect attraction for surfers, and Mogador, the name it had when it was founded by the Portuguese in the 15th century. In Essaouira there are several attractions to visit, such as the Skala Ramparts, the Medina (Unesco World Heritage Site), the port of Essaouira, where you can eat fresh seafood …. Essaouira not only has a wonderful and ancient architecture, but is also located on the Atlantic Ocean. The trip also includes a cultural visit to the argan oil cooperative to see how the rare oil is extracted and learn about its natural and cosmetic uses. Overnight stay in a riad in Marrakech.
