Step back in time as you explore this 8th-century city, home to one of the world's oldest universities. Highlights include the Leather Tanneries, Medersa Attarine, Karaouine Mosque, Moulay Idriss II Shrine, Place Nejjarine, the Royal Palace doors, the Mellah, and the Blue Gate of Boujloud. After a hearty breakfast at your luxury camp in Merzouga, set off for Boumalne Dades, journeying through the captivating desert landscapes. Begin by passing through the towns of Rissani and Erfoud, known for their rich history and vibrant markets. Along the way, take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to a nomadic family who call this region home. Continue your drive to the stunning Todgha Gorge, where towering cliffs and a picturesque river create a breathtaking natural wonder. Spend some time exploring the gorge and capturing its beauty. Arrive in Boumalne Dades in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at a charming hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings of the Dades Valley.
