Today you will make your own way to your International Airport to board your flight to Vancouver. Once you arrive in Vancouver, pick up your car and proceed to your hotel. The remainder of your evening is at leisure to create your own urban adventure amid the stores, parks, restaurants, theaters, and various other attractions of downtown Vancouver.

Day 2: Vancouver - Whistler

You depart Vancouver today and follow the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway to the resort of Whistler. En route, admire Shannon Falls and explore the dramatic canyons, ravines, and lofty peaks of Garibaldi Provincial Park. Once in Whistler, located at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, enjoy a hike along the endless trails and high alpine meadows.

As you follow the Cariboo Highway north, you will visit towns and villages that echo the past, as this route was traveled by gold seekers and traders during the famous Cariboo Gold Rush in the late 1800s. You won't want to miss a visit to Clearwater's Yellowhead Museum for a taste of frontier life or Spahats Creek Park, where the volcanic origins of the area are still in evidence.

Take the day to explore the park's mineral springs, serene lakes, and dormant volcanoes, and definitely do not miss towering Helmcken Falls, located near the entrance to the park and over twice as high as Niagara Falls. En route, you will enjoy panoramic views of Mount Terry Fox as well as Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies often shrouded by mist.

No, not as standard. Solo travellers can book and occupy their own room for a supplement.

What happens if I need to change my holiday date once I’ve booked?
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a $100 per person amendment fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services. On/ after the Final Payment Date, the $100 change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply.
