Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest and Prague

Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival in Rome, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details regarding the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. At the end of the evening, we will arrange a transfer to the Via Cavour area, a great introduction to Rome, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and International food.




Overnight in Rome

This morning after breakfast enjoy a scenic tour of Rome, the Eternal City.  You will have the opportunity to see the Vatican City home to St. Peters Basilica.  A visit to the Roman Coliseum, the symbol of Rome is included.  The Coliseum dates back 2,000 years and during your visit you will have learn about the ancient society of the Roman Empire. This evening you will be transferred to Trastevere where you will have free time to stroll the narrow-cobbled streets of the district. This area is home to churches, shops and many trattorias & osterias (informal Italian eating establishments). You will be transferred back to the hotel later in the evening. 




Overnight in Rome

After breakfast, you will start your day by departing from Rome, heading North on a beautiful route. Take in the magnificent landscapes on your way to Florence. Upon arrival, you will head straight to the Piazzale Michelangelo to see the beautiful views of the city. In the evening you will head on a tour with a local expert to explore the historic center. Bask in the beauty of the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum waiting to be explored. Enjoy some leisure time to get to know the city before dinner, where you can enjoy delicious meals in one of the many restaurants of your choice which serve international cuisine.




Overnight in Florence

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before you depart from your hotel. Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. We will arrive in Venice and take the boat and cross the Giudecca to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square and enter the Basilica (entrance included). Afterward, we will visit the Murano Glass Factory. It is fascinating to see the technique of how this ancient glass is made. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore. Accommodation in the Mestre district.




Overnight in the Mestre District, Venice

After breakfast, you will depart Venice and travel to Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you may stroll around the historic center and enjoy lunch. You will then travel along a beautiful scenic route between the mountains to Kitzbuhel. Upon arrival, you will have time to explore the picturesque village — a famous ski resort where you can see snow throughout many months of the year.




Overnight in Kitzbuhel

After a delicious breakfast, get ready to depart from your hotel. Head on a tour with a cable ride up the mountains surrounding Kitzbuhel. The medieval town offers snowy landscapes 9 months a year and a beautiful alpine flower garden in the summer. Later, you will continue your journey along the mountains of Austria until you arrive in Salzburg. Your guide will accompany you through the beautiful streets of the citys historic center, declared a World Heritage Site. Then, you will drive by the beautiful lakes and mountains towards St. Wolfgang, a famous town of pilgrimage. Continue your journey towards Traunkirchen and get ready to see the beautiful Traunsee Lake. Here, you will head on a cruise to see four castles until you disembark the boat in Gmunden. The journey will then take you to Vienna, the capital of Austria, where you will arrive in the late afternoon.




Overnight in Vienna

After breakfast, you will head on a scenic tour around the beautiful city of Vienna with a local expert. Get ready to see the majestic avenues, breathtaking palaces, and vibrant city center. You will then head directly to Schonbrunn Palace, where you may stroll through the beautiful gardens. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon of leisure in the city centre. In the evening we include a transfer to the neighborhood of Grinzing, an old wine-growing village annexed to the city and known for its traditional taverns. Free time to dine in one of its typical restaurants.




Overnight in Vienna

After breakfast, you will depart your hotel to begin your journey to Hungary. You will have an approximate three-hour journey to Budapest. Arriving at around 11:30, you will explore Budapest (“Queen of the Danube”) with a boat tour on the river. Budapest is divided by the Danube River, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the other. Enjoy lunch followed by a scenic tour of the beautiful city. After the tour, you may enjoy some leisure time. At the end of the day, you can explore the lively area of Vaci Utca, and choose from one of many restaurants to have dinner.




Overnight in Budapest

In the morning, you will travel to Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia situated by the Danube. The city offers an attractive historic center which you can explore. You will have time to enjoy lunch in the center before you continue your journey to the Czech Republic. In the evening you will arrive in the beautiful city of Prague, where you can make your way to Old Town Square. This central location will give you the perfect introduction to the vibrant city, which is full of energy and tourist attractions. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants serving international cuisine, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian.




Overnight in Prague

After breakfast, you will explore Prague. Admire the citys Baroque architecture as you head on an informative city tour with an expert guide, which will include outstanding monuments. During this visit, you may walk through Prague Castle, a major city attraction. Later, you can head on a beautiful boat tour on the Vltava River. Enjoy some leisure time in the afternoon to explore the city. In the evening you will spend more time in the historic city center.




Overnight in Prague

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before you depart for Germany. We will have an early departure from Prague and stop in Pilsen, in the region of West Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. Time for a walk through its historic center where we find the Great Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column and a Renaissance-era town hall. We will then cross into Germany where we will follow a section of the so-called ¨Romantic Route¨. Next, we will visit Rothemburg, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale and is one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Afterwards, we will head to Frankfurt. Arrival in the financial capital of Germany in late afternoon. Free time in the historic city center where there is a wide variety of restaurants to choose from (from Indian cuisine to Oriental, Italian, international and so on).




Overnight in Frankfurt

After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to the international airport in Frankfurt, where you will board your flight home.
