Day 1 : Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport

Day 2 : Guided Sightseeing of Kathmandu valley

Location: Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu

Your tour guide will assists you at your hotel and take a drive to UNESCO listed world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley which includes: Pashupatinath Temple the holy place of Hindu religions, Swyambhunath and Boudhanath stupa one of the ancient stupa which is the holy place of both Buddhist, Hindu followers and Kathmandu durbar square, one of the ancient capital of Nepal and regarded as one of the cultural and political hub of the Kathmandu valley and transfer to hotel.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Lukla (40 min fly)

  • Most travelers can participate
  • Please be noted the weather could changes very frequently along the Himalayan range. It is thus possible that domestic flights from Kathmandu to/from Lukla may have to be delayed for a few hours or even cancelled for a day or more. Fortunately this does not happen very frequently but you need to plan for this possibility.
  • Please be sure that you add on a couple of extra days after your trek before you fly from Kathmandu to your onward destination.
  • We need to collect each travellers passport copy to obtain permits a day before your tour starts
  • You had to collect 4 passport size photos of each traveller, two for TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) card and two for permit a day before your tour starts.
  • Our office representative will collect these documents a day before your tour starting date from your Hotel.
  • Accommodation in best available Hotels or Lodge during trekking
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

I went on the "Kathmandu: Pharping, Dakshinkali and Chobar Tour with Lunch" tour un February 2020. The guide and driver picked me up on time in a very nice car. This is why I gave 2 stars and not 1. Other than that: - The description says that the tour includes visits of Asura cave, Shesnarayan temple, Gorakhnath temple, Dakshinkali temple and the Chobar Gorge. However, we did not visit Shesnarayan and Gorakhnath temples. - Pictures in the description have been taken prior to the 2015 earthquake. The temple at Chobar Gorge has been severely damaged and doesn't look like that. I understand that this is out of the control of the tour company. However, pictures should be updated. - We stopped at 2 monasteries (including the one with the giant monument showed in the description). Both monasteries were closed. I was then told to take pictures through a hole in the gate. - We stopped at a cavern that was apparently closed since last year. - The description says that this is a 8h tour. I was back at my hotel after 4 hours. - There was a large number of kids on the road that were trying to stop cars by standing on the road with ropes. They were asking money. The driver was driving the car as close as possible to scare them. The guide and him found it very funny. I would not recommend this tour. ...more ...less
