8 Days The Route Of Caravans From Tangier to Marrakech
02-Dec-2021
It's quite long journey, so I spent a lot of time in the car. I thought I was good at this tour because I moved to a private vehicle and private schedule. It makes us comfortable compared to other tours. The guide, Ismail took care of us all the time, so I could safely travel around morocco. The Sahara tour was the best and is likely to remain in memory for the rest of my life.

8 Days The Route Of Caravans From Tangier to Marrakech
19-Feb-2022
We signed up for a group tour and ended up with just the two of us.Abdou is very knowledgeable and Yassine was a great driver and both were so nice to spend the week with. Some of the travel days in the van were quite long but we had plenty of photo or snack stops. And the scenery is spectacular. Riad Ahlam was exceptional. The room was lovely and the food was incredible. The visit to the Sahara was a highlight as was the camel ride and watching the sunset and sunrise over the dunes. The Berber performers by the fire was a great end of the day. With two nights in Fes, staying in a riad at the entrance to the Médina was a bit limiting for after dinner walks when paying attention to the warnings. Chefchaouen was worth the drive. So picturesque. The hotel was quirky but well located. I would absolutely recommend this tour for a first time visitor to Morocco. We added a night before the tour and the El Andalous with the enormous pool was great to get rid of the jet lag. And Marrakech is worth the extra time.

8 Days The Route Of Caravans From Tangier to Marrakech
16-Jul-2021
Went for 8-day tour. Our guide El Hassan was a terrific guide. He was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining things to us. Our driver is a very skilled driver, we felt very safe in the car with some of the winding narrow roads. Our favorite part is the Sahara desert as it’s different from everything else, we opted an upgrade to merzouga luxury camp and it’s totally worth it. It comes with hot showers and WiFi and a decent meal. We also opted for private car so there are only 4 of us which makes the trip very flexible. We can stop whenever we want and start late if we wanted to. The tour guide was very accommodating to our requests. The only thing to beware of is long drive from one city to the next (duration anywhere from 5 hours to 8 hours days) but the private car makes it comfortable. Something about the tour company, the coronavirus was going on but when I requested to defer my trip or cancel, they had refused to do it, they told me to claim insurance. I thought that was very inconsiderate of the company to want to keep the money amid a pandemic going on so because of that we went ahead with the tour. The tour is great but just be aware if you purchased it, there is very little flexibility to change.
