You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 7:30AM by our guide and driver and head for Ninh Binh. Once we arrive, we’ll first visit the temples of Hoa Lu dedicated to two dynasties, the Dinh and the Le. Hoa Lu was chosen as the first capital of the feudal state when Dinh Bo Lunh was crowned emperor in 968. You will then have the opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful caves of Ninh Binh Province, Mua Cave. The trek to get there offers panoramic views of limestone mountains, especially once you have reached the top of the 486 stairs to the peak of the Mua Cave Mountain. From the top, you can admire the whole beauty of the Tam Coc area with vast rice fields in the green countryside.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you will enjoy a 2-hour boat ride to visit Tam Coc, crossing Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba grottoes. These caves are adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes and colours that sparkle like gemstones. After the boat tour, you will change vehicle for a bicycle and ride around the village to visit the local market where your tour guide will help you buy some ingredients for your cooking class late afternoon.

After your breakfast today, you will discover Bai Dinh Pagoda, one of the biggest pagodas in Vietnam. Bai Dinh Pagoda is a religious complex covering a total area of 539 hectares, belonging to Ninh Binh province, known as the ancient capital of Vietnam.
It is a truly wonderful experience to stroll around. Within the pagoda there are many temples, such as Tam The Temple, Phap Chu Temple, Quan Am Temple, and Bao Thap as well as a bell tower and a dormitory area for the resident monks. Once we’ve seen all there is to see at the pagoda, we go back to our bungalow for lunch before exploring the village by bicycle and visit Bich Dong Pagoda.
Then it is time to get back on the bus, arrival in Hanoi around 6:00-6:30pm.
