Day 2 : Accra City Tour.

Morning pick up in a private air-condition. Visit W.E.B. Du Bois Center, take a guided tour of the museum and listen to history of the Father of Modern Pan-Africanism. Continue to the Independence Square and visit the Eternal Flame of African Liberation, lit by Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah first President of Ghana. Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, dedicated to Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah for his struggle for Ghana’s independence. Listen to history of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah and his vision for Ghana. Stop at Makola Market, Accra’s largest open market overflowed with goods, people, scents and sounds to see how local Ghanaian market operates. Visit Jamestown, a fishing community as well as one of the historic old towns of Accra. Take a guided tour of its interesting sight and learn new things.

Day 3 : Shai Hills Resource Reserve & Volta River Boat Cruise.

Depart for Shai Hills Resource Reserve, an about 51 kilometers square and only wildlife Reserve in the Greater Accra plains. Tour through the reserve with a special site guide to see Baboons, ostrich, zebras, Antelopes etc and do a fancy rock climbing with knot ropes. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Volta River. Relax and refresh having a beautiful view of the River.

Day 4 : Bead Factory, Boti Waterfalls & Umbrella Rock.

Visit a bead factory to see how traditional Ghanaian beads are crafted. Learn the various process of bead-making from a short lesson. Depart to Boti in the Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region of Ghana. Hike the rocky forest of Boti to the mysterious Umbrella Rock and the 3-headed Palm Tree. Get to know history of the Prayer Rock, the Tree on Rock and the Sound Cave. Refresh at the Boti twin falls and enjoy their scenic flow to the ground.

Day 5 : Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River.

Morning travel to Elmina stopping at Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Site to relate to where slave captives were made to take their last bath before transported to the America’s.

Day 6 : Kakum National Park, Crocodile Pond, Stingless Bees & Cultural Performance.

Morning travel to Kakum National Park, a tropical rain forest of an area of about 375 square kilometres notable for nature and wildlife. Hike about 30 minutes ascending the steep hill to take an adrenaline walk on the Canopy Walkway suspended between 11-40 meters high above sea level and 350 meters long. Experience nature and the beautiful view of the forest in a secured series of nets and wires. Visit Hans Botel to see crocodiles in a pond and the Stingless Bees Center to see a natural honey production. Enjoy a scenic evening cultural performance of a Ghanaian coastal drumming and dancing.

Day 7 : Elmina Fish Market, Elmina Castle & Cape Coast Castle.

Enjoy a morning walk feeling the cool air from the ocean. Learn some history about the Elmina fishing community. Visit Elmina Castle, an important stop destinations during the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cape Coast Castle being one of the large commercial forts built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders well known for the infamous Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
