Day 1 : Colombo

Location: Colombo

Accommodation: Hotel

You will be picked up from the central location of Colombo or the International airport the Bandaranaike International Airport by the driver and the tour escort and transferred to the hotel for resting and sleeping.
After refreshing sightseeing of Colombo starts. You will be taken for sightseeing of Colombo visiting clock tower, Pettah bazar, a Hindu as well as a Buddhist temple as well as the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH)- an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People' Republic of China. Day 2 : Sigiriya and village tour

Location: Sigiriya

After breakfast drive to Sigiriya. En-route visit Dambulla Cave Temple + Golden temple. Dambulla cave temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. Check in Sigiriya. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3 : Kandy

Location: Kandy

Accommodation: Hotel

After breakfastart, you will have to climb up 1200 steps to the Sigiriya Rock. There are several platforms that break up the steps and allow for a little break if you need it. From some places along the path you also get an amazing view of the surrounding. Participate in a popular village tour during which you will try oxen cart ride, traditional catamaran safari as well as see cooking demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan food and taste delicious authentic Sri Lankan village lunch. Next, travel to the town Kandy which is famous for a temple of the tooth,a Buddhist temple. On the way there we will stop at the spice garden where you will be able to find out something about Sri Lankann spices, herbs and medicines.

The Tooth relic temple is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Next you will enjoy the cultural dance show. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya

Location: Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast visit Peradeniya royal botanical gardens. Travel up to the mountains to a picturesque town Nuwara Eliya famous for its lush green scenic tea plantations. En route visit Ramboda waterfall. In Nuwara Eliya visit a famous tea factory with the possibility of buying some very good quality tea. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Yala National Park and Ravana waterfall

After breakfast drive to the Yala National Park. On the way you will have an opportunity to stop in Ella city and later see a beautiful Ravana waterfall. Day 7 : Colombo

After hotel check out you will be dropped off to Colombo airport and fly to heavenly Maldives. Day 8 : Relax in Maafushi

Shared Speed boat transfer is between 8 am and 5 pm.

Please note that in case of late evening or early morning transfer a private speed boat can be arranged which costs 170 USD.

The best Sri Lanka experience

I had the most amazing 3 week trip ever to Sri Lanka. The island really does have so much to offer - nature, amazing beaches and countryside, beautiful wildlife, the most incredibly interesting historical and religious sites, wonderful food, good choice of accommodation to suit all budgets... I could go on and on! Undoubtedly the best way to see the country is to hire a guide and/or driver - it's the fastest way to cover a lot of ground and see all the sites but more importantly, it's how you are most likely to gain a true insight into the Sri Lankan way of life and the lovely Sinhalese people! I spent much of my time with the guide I met in Kandy. Together with a fantastic driver, we travelled around much of the country and had so many good times on the way. ...more ...less

Wonderful holidays

We've recently come back from our holidays made by Paylesstoursindia. After around 14 days of sightseeing and relaxing we can rate this tour as a very good one. The selection of accommodation was very good in both countries. The driver Mr. Pradeep was very kind and friendly. He showed us additional places that were not in our itinerary and advised on places to eat and buy souvenirs. Sri Lanka impressed us by their landscape, lush greenery and friendly people. Maldives was very relaxing and a bit adventures thanks to lovely excursions. The hotel was also lovely with tasty buffet dishes we liked very much. The best Tour

We loved our tour from and through Sri Lanka to Maldives all the arrangements were made as planned and discussed before our journey there. We'd asked for 4-star hotel upgrading and a bit extension of the tour as well as 2 night in a water villa that was added on our special request. That was actually a cherry on the cake. All the places in the itinerary were shown by our driver without rush and we got plenty of time for self exploration of a few spots of our interests. We were invited to our driver's home for beer and snacks which was really lovely. Maldives was very pleasant and relaxing with a few exhilarating excursions.
