For the history lovers out there, head over to the ancient pyramids at Teotihuacan – a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its impressive monuments including the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon.

Head to Xochimilco – AKA, the colourful canals of Mexico City – for a scenic (and extremely colourful) cruise on a gondola through unique floating gardens. Once the residence of monarchs, emperors, and presidents, it stands as the only royal castle in the Americas. Steeped in history as an imperial home, a battlefield, and now a museum, it proudly showcases Mexico’s cultural heritage – all whilst boasting breathtaking views of Mexico City. If cycling doesn’t take your fancy, simply hop in an Uber instead!

After an afternoon exploring, there’s nothing left to do other than join your group for some hearty food, accompanied by music and washed down with a tequila or mezcal – we’ll let you choose. 😉

This morning, transfer to the next destination – the coastal town of Puerto Escondido. We’ll take an early morning flight to arrive in Puerto Escondido at lunchtime, where the afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own leisure. This town is famed for its stunning beaches, so we’d highly recommend hitting the crystal waters for a swim, swiftly followed by some well-deserved sunbathing time. Or, if you want to keep things super chilled, you and your travel buddies can take some time to chill by the pool at the hostel.

Come late afternoon, we’ll head to the beach for your next unmissable activity – a surf lesson at sunset! Puerto Escondido has rightfully earned its reputation as a surfer’s paradise! Home to some of the world’s best waves, it’s the perfect spot to check off “learning to surf” from your bucket list! A professional coach will guide you through essential surf theory on the sand before helping you master your pop-up. Then, it’s time to hit the waves and put your new skills to the test!

After, the evening is yours to enjoy as you wish! Explore the town more, enjoy some fresh seafood, head to a beachfront bar for a cocktail (or two 😉) or, for the party lovers explore La Punta’s nightlife.

Today, it’s all about sun, sand, and sea! We’re keeping things pretty chilled today, allowing you the choice to soak up those ever-so-important rays, explore the sights of this bohemian coastal town, or head to nearby beaches. Or, for those who are seeking a touch more adventure, opt for a dolphin and whale watching tour out on the Pacific Ocean Spot playful dolphins, majestic humpback whales (seasonal), sea turtles, and other marine life – all whilst soaking up some rays and enjoying the breathtaking coastal views.

As night falls, you then have the option to head to the iconic Manialtepec Lagoon where you’ll experience something truly unforgettable. This morning, we’re up and out early bound for our next stop – Oaxaca (pronounced Wahaca) – a city celebrated for its rich Indigenous culture and colourful festivals, set against a backdrop of colonial architecture. But this journey isn’t without some craftsmanship along the way. That’s right! You’ll discover how to make your own alebrijes, intricately painted wooden fantastical creatures that are inspired by traditional Mexican folk art.

We’ll then hit the road to arrive in Oaxaca in the early afternoon where your Adventure Leader will meet you, before checking into your hostel. Spend some time exploring the sights under your own steam – why not take a leisurely stroll through the botanical gardens, home to a stunning and diverse collection of native Mexican plant species?

Afterwards, join your fellow travellers for your next unmissable activity – a cooking class! Master the art of traditional Oaxacan mole – a traditional (and VERY delicious) Mexican sauce, renowned for its smoky, sweet, and spicey flavours!

With your cooking skills now mastered, there’s nothing left to do that soak up the charm of Oaxaca. Why not browse artisan markets, visit a rooftop bar, or enjoy live music and traditional dance performances?

Today, it’s up and out early to the iconic Hierve el Agua, but not without a stop-off to see the famous Tule tree – the world’s widest tree! This ancient Montezuma cypress is over 2,000 years old and has a diameter of 14 meters (46 feet) – that’s roughly the same width as a tennis court or an adult blue whale! 😮

We’ll then carry on to Hierve el Agua! Located roughly 70km east of Oaxaca, this is a natural site renowned for its collection of mineral-rich rock formations that resemble cascading waterfalls. We’ll take some time here to explore the landscape and take a dip in the spring-fed pools!

On our way back to Oaxaca, we’ll make two unforgettable stops to immerse you in true Mexican culture. First, we’ll take some time to explore the Mitla Ancient Ruins – a Zapotec archaeological site known for intricate geometric mosaics, well-preserved temples, and a rich history as a sacred burial site. Next, it’s time for a mezcal tasting, where we’ll take a deep dive into this smoky spirit, with expert-guided sips and traditional production insights.

This morning, we’ll transfer to the airport bound for our next destination – Tulum! We’ll fly to Cancun and then transfer by bus to Tulum, arriving around 3pm. The rest of your day is yours to spend as you see fit, but if the weather’s good you might want to join a sunset sailing tour!

This morning, we’ll visit Chichén Itzá, a breathtaking ancient Mayan city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its iconic El Castillo pyramid, this city also features other remarkable Mayan structures that highlight a rich cultural and architectural legacy.

This region of Mexico is renowned for its crystal-clear cenotes – natural limestone sinkholes and underwater cave systems considered sacred by the Mayans. After Chichén, we’ll visit a local, community-run cenote, where you and your group can take a refreshing dip in the vibrant blue waters while soaking in the breathtaking natural surroundings.

We’ll then stop for some lunch in Valladolid – a charming colonial town, known for its colourful streets, historic architecture, and vibrant Mayan culture, before heading back to Tulum.

Today your journey through Central America continues as we hit our second country – Guatemala! In the morning, we’ll transfer to the airport and board a flight to Guatemala City!

Though an early start is required, this won’t be without the reward of stunning views! You will be met at the top by panoramic views of Lake Atitlán and the surrounding volcanoes, all glowing golden as the sun rises over the horizon.

Today marks the start of our next unmissable activity – a 2-day hike of the Acatenango Volcano! We’ll transfer from San Pedro La Laguna to the trailhead of Acatenango Volcano, where we’ll commence a 6-hour hike through dense cloud forests, farmlands, and stunning treelines.

Enjoy some lunch (with mega views) along the way, before witnessing Volcán de Fuego’s frequent eruptions – from a safe distance, of course! It’s then onwards to base camp, where you enjoy some well-earned dinner and soak up views of the active volcano in the twilight, before getting an early night.

Today calls for an early start of 3 am* to begin our final ascent to Acatenango’s summit (roughly 2 hours). The terrain is steep and covered in loose volcanic ash and gravel, making the climb challenging, but the sunrise views from the top are worth the effort!

After summiting, we’ll descend back to basecamp for some breakfast and then transfer to our next destination in Guatemala – Antigua! This picturesque town is known for its well-preserved Spanish Baroque architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant bar scene.

After your 2-day hike, today calls for some well-earned rest! And there’s no better place to do this than Antigua – a charming town, brimming with culture – perfect for a laid-back day.

Take a leisurely stroll through its colourful colonial streets, sip on some delicious Guatemalan coffee at a cosy cafe in the central square, unwind at one of the local spas, or even head up to Cerro de la Cruz to enjoy the sunset, or even enjoy a coffee in the central square!

Today your journey through Central America continues as we hit our third country – Costa Rica! You’ll transfer to Guatemala City airport (roughly 90 minutes) and hop on a flight to San José.

From there, we’ll transfer onwards to La Fortuna (roughly 3 hours) – a lush town known for its iconic Arenal Volcano, hot springs, waterfalls, and adventure activities. On arrival, check into your hostel and rest up after a long journey!

Today, we’re making the most of La Fortuna’s natural wonders with a full day, jam-packed with unmissable activities.

Kick things off with a visit to the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall before heading to the Laguna Tabacón camping area, where you’ll have the option to kayak or paddleboard! Next, we’ll head out on a hike to Arenal Volcano, followed by a well-earned lunch back at the campsite. In the afternoon, explore the rainforest from a new perspective on the Arenal Hanging Bridges tour, walking across a series of suspended bridges high above the canopy.

After a busy day, it’s only fair we bring things back down too. Being a heavily volcanic area, La Fortuna is home to some of the best hot springs in the world. So, after a jam-packed day, you’ll take a soak in the natural thermal baths, before enjoying an evening at your leisure.

Today is all yours to plan, but we’ve got some amazing optional activities for you to consider:

For the thrill seekers, why not get your adrenaline pumping with a day of canyoning or rafting* – or both (if you dare) – through La Fortuna’s verdant rainforest reserve! Feel the rush as you rappel towering waterfalls, slide into jungle pools, and navigate rocky canyons. Or switch gears for white-water rafting, tackling thrilling rapids while spotting monkeys, toucans, and sloths along the riverbanks. With breathtaking scenery and nonstop adrenaline, this combo is the ultimate way to experience La Fortuna’s wild side!
For nature lovers, opt for a day tour to Rio Celeste! Here, you’ll take a scenic hike through Tenorio Volcano National Park to witness its breathtaking turquoise waterfall, bubbling hot springs, and dense rainforest.
Come evening, opt to join your group for a walking tour through the rainforest after dark, where you’ll discover the best of Costa Rica’s nocturnal wildlife like frogs, snakes, and glowing insects. You might even spot some red-eye frogs along the way!

Today is a travel day as we make our way from La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio – a coastal town renowned for its stunning beaches, lush rainforests, and other diverse wildlife. But the journey itself is an adventure!

We’ll kick off the day with a beautiful boat ride across Arenal Lake, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding volcano and lush landscapes. Once we dock, we’ll continue by land, passing through stunning mountain scenery on our way to Monteverde.
­
We’ll stop in Monteverde for lunch before heading to 100% Aventura Park, home to the longest zip line in Costa Rica! Glide above treetops with breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano and the jungle below. Along the way, spot wildlife like howler monkeys and toucan birds.

After our adventure in Monteverde, we’ll continue our journey to Manuel Antonio, arriving in the late evening.

If you’re still feeling energetic this morning, you can choose to explore the stunning Manuel Antonio National Park on a guided tour, offering a chance to explore lush rainforests, spot diverse wildlife like sloths, monkeys, and exotic birds, and relax on pristine white-sand beaches.

We’re leaving Central America behind this morning – because it’s time to head south! You’ll fly from Costa Rica to Colombia, ready for the South American leg of your epic adventure to kick off. You’ll land in Medellín, Colombia in the afternoon, giving you time to orientate yourself in this vibrant city. Come the evening, you can opt to rest up – or we’ve got some optional activities available:

Depending on fixtures, you can opt to watch a local soccer game at Estadio Atanasio Giradot.
If there is no game on, you could try our hand at Tejo – a Colombian game where you throw clay at gunpowder with the aim of causing a small explosion (Cool, right?)
If neither of those takes your fancy, then kick back with some drinks and salsa in El Poblado – one of Medellín’s safe party streets!

We’ll kick off our adventure here by climbing the 740 steps* to the top of El Peñón de Guatapé – a massive granite rock, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and landscapes.

Afterwards, enjoy some time to explore the town of Guatapé itself before hopping in kayaks (2 per kayak) on the Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir. Paddle through the serene waters of this scenic reservoir, admiring the rolling hills, surrounding colourful houses, and Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir from below!

In the evening, it’s time to dive into another quintessential Medellín experience, thanks to the influence of the famous singer Carlos Gardel – TANGO! This morning, we’re up and out early bound for our next stop – Salento! This quaint town in the Coffee Triangle is known for its colourful colonial architecture, lush coffee plantations, and stunning views of the Cocora Valley’s towering wax palms. You’ll transfer by minivan (roughly 6 -7 hours) to arrive in Salento in the early afternoon where your Adventure Leader will meet you.

Coffee lovers, this next unmissable experience is for you! We’ll spend the afternoon exploring the Finca el Ocaso Coffee Farm. From picking the beans and trying the coffee-making process for yourself, to tasting the final product – you’ll be a connoisseur by the end!

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy under your own steam! Why not soak up some traditional Colombian culture in the town’s picturesque central plaza?

Today, we’re transferring to our next destination in Colombia – the famous Cali, a vibrant city surrounded by mountains, known for its lively salsa music scene! You’ll transfer via bus to arrive in Cali late in the morning where your Adventure Leader will meet you before you take a rest by the pool in your hostel.

In the late afternoon, we’ll take some time to explore some of the city’s must-sees, including the Plaza de Caycedo – Cali’s central square, boasting towering palm trees, a lively atmosphere, and historic significance as the heart of the city. We’ll also visit the Catedral Metropolitana, a magnificent Neo-Gothic cathedral overlooking the plaza, renowned for its stunning architecture and cultural importance.

Guided by local experts, we’ll then uncover Cali’s rebellious spirit – wandering its lively streets to explore salsa’s rich cultural roots, its influence on social movements, and its artistic expression through murals and music. In the afternoon, you’ll transfer to the airport and board a short flight to Bogotá, Colombia’s capital city perched high in the Andes. On arrival, we’ll transfer to the hostel for an evening of rest!

What better way to get our bearings today than with a bike tour? Start by pedalling through Bogotá’s vibrant districts, exploring the historic downtown areas of La Candelaria, Plaza Bolívar, the Cathedral, and the Presidential Palace.
­
Then, stop by a traditional fruit market and sample exotic Colombian fruits like lulo, uchuva, passion fruit, and more – passing through more local neighbourhoods along the way.
­
Switching gears, we’ll cycle to a middle-class district to get a taste of modern Colombian neighbourhoods (and even some National Parks), before re-grouping in Bogotá for a graffiti art experience! Here, you’ll learn more about Colombia’s history, culture, and politics through its dynamic and vibrant street art, as well as get the chance to visit a gallery, admire the art pieces, and even go crazy with some spray painting of your own!

Sunset calls for some views! You and your group will take the funicular up to Monserrate, a mountain that sits over 3,000 metres above sea level, offering stunning views of Bogotá. As good as the views are, we recommend taking some time to explore the area up there itself, including the church and other surroundings, before heading back down via cable car.

Today, it’s time to explore a new country on your South American adventure – Peru! In the morning, we’ll head to the airport and catch a direct flight to Cusco, the former capital of the Incan Empire and the gateway to the legendary Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.

On arrival in the afternoon, you’ll take a guided walk through Cusco’s historic downtown, exploring iconic landmarks like the Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, and the San Pedro Market.
­
Top it all off with a group meal, where you’ll get the chance to try some of Peru’s traditional dishes! Just a heads-up: you’ll need plenty of energy for the next three action-packed days, so an early night might be a wise choice. 😉

Today marks the start of one of your tour’s most amazing unmissable activities – a 4-day trek bound for Machu Picchu. Along the way, you’ll get all your food included – there’s no shops in the Andes, after all!

Today will be a relatively gentle hike, as we focus on acclimatisation whilst passing through stunning Andean vistas. You’ll only be expected to carry a day pack with you on these hikes, as we’ll hand off larger luggage.
­
After a day of hiking, we’ll set up camp, enjoy dinner prepared by your trekking team, and settle down for the rest of the night enjoying sites of the Milky Way high in the Andean Mountains.

A second full day of hiking commences as we traverse mountain passes, small archaeological sites, and stunning natural scenery. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for hummingbirds, known to frequent this part of the trail!

Today’s hike will be a more intense pace than yesterday, with a lot of uphill hiking – and a final couple of hours’ climbing taking you and your group to your next campsite!

Day three of our hike to Machu Picchu is our most impressive yet, starting with a gentle climb which takes you to some truly spectacular views. As we hike throughout the day, you’ll see the Inca site of Phuyupatamarca, the third-highest point along the entire trail.

We’ll then head back downwards towards our third campsite, coming down from the chillier altitudes towards the more humid climates of the Amazon jungle via the impressive Intipata archaeological site! Today’s trekking sees you arriving at the campsite in the afternoon, so you’ve got some time to yourself to rest up after a busy couple of days.

Today calls for a very early start (but it’s definitely worth it) as we ascend for breathtaking views over Machu Picchu – one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and a highlight you won’t forget!

Not sure what Machu Picchu is? It’s an Incan citadel set on top of a mountain peak high in the Andes. Built in the 15th century, it served as a royal estate and ceremonial centre before being abandoned during the Spanish conquest. It became forgotten and overgrown for over 400 years before being rediscovered by Hiram Bingham in the early 20th century.
­
Afterwards, we’ll start our journey back to Cusco, where you’ll have the evening free to relax and explore at your own pace. Why not opt to treat yourself to a massage? Your muscles will thank you for it!

After your grand expedition into the Andes, today calls for some well-earned rest! So, this morning is yours to enjoy as you please in this beautiful, vibrant city. Take a leisurely stroll through the city’s charming streets, visit a local café for a traditional Peruvian breakfast, or head to the picturesque Plaza de Armas or the nearby San Pedro Market.

In the afternoon, we’ll regroup and head to Sacsayhuamán, an ancient Incan fortress complex located on a hill overlooking Cusco. It’s renowned for its massive stone walls, sophisticated masonry, and stunning, panoramic views of the surrounding valley.

In the evening, we recommend throwing yourself into the city’s legendary nightlife with the Cusco Bar Crawl!

Today, we’re transferring to our next destination on this group tour around South America – Puno. But it’s not just any old travel day – we’re following the Route of the Sun (Ruta del Sol).

Connecting Cusco and Puno, this is one of Peru’s most beautiful journeys, showcasing breathtaking Andean landscapes, ancient ruins, and cultural landmarks. Along the way, it’ll also give you a chance to explore one of Peru’s most stunning natural landscapes – Rainbow Mountain! A short hike of around an hour and a half will take you up this incredible peak, so named for its stunning multi-coloured earth formed by previous tectonic activity. Make sure your camera is charged for this one!

We’ll then hike back down before we continue onto Puno, arriving in the early evening. Here, you’ll then have some free time to familiarise yourself with this stunning town on the shores of the iconic Lake Titicaca.

This morning, it’s time for another truly unmissable experience – a boat ride on Lake Titicaca. This UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for being the largest freshwater lake in South America and the highest lake in the world – not to mention the stunning Andean views that it boasts.

Along the way, you’ll get to spend time on the floating homes of Lake Titicaca – created out of reeds by the Indigenous Uros people as protection against the attacks from the Incas centuries ago.
­
Enjoy the evening in Puno at your own leisure, before getting a (highly recommended) early night ahead of your early transfer to Bolivia in the morning.

It’s up and out early this morning to board a sleeper bus at 5am from Puno to our next country – Bolivia! Transfer roughly 6 hours to arrive in La Paz at lunchtime where your Adventure Leader will meet you, before checking into your hostel.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the best of Laz Paz, Bolivia’s capital city. Kick-off at the central square, where you can see the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral of La Paz, and the National Congress building, before calling in at the witch’s market – a vibrant and mystical hub where you’ll find traditional remedies, spiritual artefacts, and offerings for Andean rituals.

Are you an adrenaline junkie? Today you have the option to mountain bike across what is known as the World’s Most Dangerous Road. It’s renowned for its descent through lush valleys and stunning landscapes. However, with vertical drops of up to 1000m over the cliff, it’s got the nickname ‘Death Road’.
­
We (of course) partner with a local company which puts safety first always, allowing you to enjoy this cycle of a lifetime in a controlled and safe way!
­
For those who don’t fancy this bike ride today, fear not! You’ll enjoy a relaxed free day in La Paz, exploring more of the city under your own steam!
­
In the evening, we’ll regroup and transfer to the bus station where we’ll board a lie-flat night bus from La Paz to Uyuni, arriving there in the early morning.

Today marks the start of our next unmissable (and true bucket list) experience – a 3-day overland adventure in 4x4s across Bolivia’s salt flats and otherworldly landscapes, all the way to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile!
­
We’ll begin the tour in Uyuni with a visit to the Train Cemetery – home to old, abandoned locomotives from Bolivia’s mining era rust in the desert. Then, head to the world-famous Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, featuring surreal mirror-like reflections during the rainy season and endless white expanses under a clear sky.

Continue to Incahuasi Island, also known as Fish Island, where giant cacti grow amidst the expansive white salt flats, before enjoying a picnic lunch with some of the greatest panoramic views you’ll ever witness (in our eyes anyway).
­
After lunch, you’ll get to explore more of the salt flats, taking perspective-bending photos (don’t worry, your Adventure Leader will explain) on the vast, flat, white terrain. Wind down for a relaxing evening with your fellow travel buddies in a guesthouse in the middle of the desert.

Thought the views couldn’t get any better? We’ll start our morning with a visit to the Chiguana Desert. This sprawling sand landscape is framed by volcanoes, including the still-active Ollagüe Volcano.

Along our route today, we’ll stop at the striking Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, and Laguna Honda, where you can spot flamingos and other amazing wildlife. Witnessing the varied colours of these lagoons, caused by mineral deposits, are a true bucket list moment!

In the afternoon, we’ll continue to the Siloli Desert to see the famous Stone Tree (Arbol de Piedra), a unique rock formation shaped by wind erosion. Continuing the theme of mind-blowing landscapes, we’ll pay a visit to Eduardo Avaroa National Park and visit the (nothing short of mesmorising) Laguna Colorada, a red-hued lake rich in minerals and home to large flocks of flamingos.

Settle down for the evening with your group for some dinner and well-earned rest!

Today begins early, but it’s definitely worth it as we head to the Sol de Mañana geyser field to catch the sunrise! Experience the surreal sight of steam rising from boiling mud pots in the chilly morning air at high altitudes.

Next, head to the Polques Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in thermal waters while taking in the views of the surrounding desert landscape. Afterward, you’ll visit the stunning Laguna Verde, a green-coloured lake at the base of the Licancabur Volcano.
­
It’s then time to leave Bolivia, bound for our fourth and final country – as we cross the Bolivian-Chilean border at Hito Cajón and continue into Chile, descending into the Atacama Desert. We’ll arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, where you’ll have the evening to relax and unwind.

We’ll venture into Death Valley for a thrilling morning of sandboarding, before embarking on a bike tour to the Lunar Valley (Valle de la Luna) near San Pedro de Atacama.

This surreal landscape features otherworldly rock formations, expansive sand dunes, and salt flats, offering stunning views of both the Atacama Desert and the Andes.
­
To cap off your adventure, spend your final night at an observatory, where you’ll experience the night sky in one of the clearest and darkest places on Earth! Marvel at shooting stars, constellations, and the Milky Way in incredible detail.

This morning, you’ll depart San Pedro de Atacama bound for some good air – Buenos Aires, that is! We’ll transfer to the airport and board a flight to Santiago, where you’ll then connect and transfer to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After arriving here, you’ll have time to settle in before you meet your new group of fellow adventurers in the hostel common area – by the pool, no less – where your Adventure Leader will brief you on what’s to come in your time in Argentina and Brazil. While you get acquainted, grab a mug of mate, a traditional Argentina herbal tea. We’ll outline travel plans and top tips on staying safe during your while you’re here.

After, it’s time to continue your adventure in true Argentinian style – with a tango lesson at a milonga, a local dance party. Guided by skilled instructors, you’ll learn precise steps, connection (the silent, shared language between partners), and overall musicality, before moving to the social dance floor to practice your newly acquired dance skills.

This morning, get your bearings in this bustling city in style – with a cycle tour using the city’s designated bike lanes! Along the way, we’ll visit Plaza de Mayo (the historic heart of Buenos Aires), Casa Rosada (the presidential palace renowned for its vibrant pink colour and famous balcony overlooking Plaza de Mayo), and the Teatro Colón (a beautiful opera house).

To cool off, we’ll end the cycle tour in the MALBA – a contemporary gallery showcasing cutting-edge Latin American art.
­
In the afternoon, we’ll regroup for a beginner’s class of Rioplatense Spanish, the dialect of Spanish spoken in this region of Argentina. Your Adventure Leader will teach you basic phrases that you can put to the test throughout your tour.

¿Estás listo? Good! Because there’s no better place to practice your new language skills than at a local market. If you’re visiting with us on a Sunday, we’ll take you to the San Telmo Market. Every Sunday, the market comes alive, offering a vibrant, historic setting with a bustling outdoor street market and an indoor space filled with antiques, crafts, and local food.
­
Come evening, enjoy a traditional BBQ dinner in an asado – a traditional Argentine BBQ, featuring wood-fired meats, hearty sides, and Malbec wine, before setting out on a night of bar hopping around the city’s vibrant nightlife!

Your morning kicks-off with a chance to explore the city’s parks, hip galleries, and relaxed café-culture in the Palermo and Recoleta neighbourhoods. We’ll also call in at the Recoleta Cemetery, where many of Argentina’s most historic figures rest in ornate mausoleums.
­
Afterward, you can opt to take a local train to Tigre, where you’ll board a public boat tour through the Tigre River Delta, admiring the wildlife among the reeds and waterlilies, as well as picturesque riverside villages.
­
In the afternoon, we’ll jump on a bus bound for the bustling, artistic district of La Boca. Soak up the atmosphere of the iconic Caminito walkway, before heading to one of the most famous stadiums in this football-mad country – La Bombonera! We’ll either take a tour around the stadium or, if a game is on and we can secure tickets, the tour will be swapped out for tickets to a match (surcharge may apply).

We recommend resting up this evening ahead of your journey south to Patagonia in the morning.

This morning, hop in a taxi to Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery, where you’ll board a flight to Ushuaia in the heart of Patagonia (roughly 3hr 40 min flight time).
­
On arrival in Ushuaia, also known as ‘El Fin Del Mundo’ (the End of the World), the rest of the day is yours to spend at your own leisure. We recommend getting to know the area with a stroll around the town’s Plaza Malvinas – a serene park honoring Argentina’s Falklands War veterans, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and harbour.

Today, it’s time for your next unmissable experience – a full day’s hiking to Laguna Esmeralda. This 6-hour trek showcases the best of Patagonian nature, including turbales (wetlands unique to the region), fueguina forests, scenic lagoons, turquoise glacial lakes, and soaring mountains.
­
Despite being a full day, the trek is quite manageable for inexperienced hikers and our guide will move at the pace of the slowest person. Speedy hikers are free to move on ahead, as the route is well sign posted!
­
In the evening, we’ll wind down from a day of hiking in true Argentinian style! You and your travel buddies will enjoy an informal night of wine tasting, sampling a variety of Argentina’s finest Malbecs and Cabernet Sauvignons (DELICIOUS)!

After yesterday’s hike, this morning is all about taking it easy and enjoying some well-deserved free time.
­
Don’t get too comfy though, as this afternoon brings our next unmissable activity – a catamaran ride* through the waves of the Beagle Channel. Keep your eyes peeled for incredible wildlife, once studied by Darwin, including sea lions and albatrosses! On the way back, spot the famous Les Eclaireurs lighthouse – a symbolic landmark often called the ‘End of the World Lighthouse’.
­
The evening is then yours to enjoy as you wish! The clear skies of Patagonia can offer wonderful views of the night sky, so our local experts recommend heading to a secluded spot, grabbing a bottle of Argentinian red, and enjoying views of the cosmos.

*If you’re travelling with us between November and February, you can opt to upgrade your experience to a smaller boat which stops at an island where you can walk amongst the penguins who migrate here from Antarctica for the summer (cute, right?).

This morning, you’ll transfer to the airport to begin the journey to your next destination – Iguazú!

After a day of travelling, the evening* is yours to enjoy at your own leisure. You may want to try your luck at the at the Puerto Iguazú Casino, which offers various gaming options and entertainment. Never know, you may get lucky! 😉

Today, we’re visiting the incredible Iguaçu National Park! This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the breathtaking Iguazú Falls, lush rainforest, and diverse wildlife, including toucans and jaguars!

You and your group will hike the Garganta del Diablo (the Devil’s Throat) where a series of walkways and catwalks allows you to experience the tremendous power of the Iguazú Falls. After this, we’ll take a train through the park which offers plenty more stunning views of the incredible falls.
­
In the afternoon, you have the option to take a thrilling boat ride through Iguazú National Park which takes you up close to the powerful waterfalls, soaking you in mist while surrounded by stunning jungle scenery.
­
After exiting the park, we’ll catch the sunset at the Three Borders Landmark, where you can see the confluence of the Paraná and Iguazú Rivers and (if you hadn’t guessed) the border points of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay!

Enjoy the rest of the evening under your own steam! Our local experts recommend a stroll around the night market of Puerto Iguazú. You’ll be met with a vibrant atmosphere of local crafts, street food, live music, and a taste of true Argentine culture under the stars.

This morning, it’s time to cross the border to our final country on this epic adventure – Brazil! Bem-vindo! Here, we’ll explore the Brazilian side of Iguaçu National Park, hike the Cataratas Trail (Trilha das Cataratas), and take in the stunning views from the Garganta do Diabo viewpoint.

Then, it’s onward to the airport where you’ll board a flight to São Paulo (roughly 1hr 40mins).
­
On arrival, check into your accommodation before regrouping for an evening in Vila Madalena. Renowned for its vibrant nightlife, street art, and bohemian vibe, this neighbourhood is a must-visit when in São Paulo! Tip: Don’t miss Beco do Batman, an alleyway filled with stunning graffiti!

Today, we’ll dive into the best of São Paulo. The day kicks off with a guided stroll along Avenida Paulista, the city’s iconic avenue, where you’ll discover street art, pop-up markets, and performers, all surrounded by São Paulo’s lively urban vibe.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the chance to explore São Paulo’s historic centre, visiting landmarks like the majestic Sé Cathedral and the serene Monastery of São Bento. Along the way, we’ll uncover the rich history and architectural beauty that define this vibrant part of the city.
­
To cap off the tour, we’ll head to the observation deck of the Edifício Itália tower, where you can soak up breathtaking panoramic views of the city as the sun sets.

Tonight, why not opt to join your group for an evening on Rua Augusta? This street is known for its alternative culture, bars, and clubs! Alternatively, you could explore Liberdade, São Paulo’s vibrant Japanese district.

This morning, we’re up and out early bound for our next exciting destination – Rio de Janeiro! You’ll transfer by bus (roughly 6 hours) to arrive in Rio in the early afternoon where your Adventure Leader will meet you.
­
Spend the afternoon soaking up rays and relaxing on Copacabana Beach, before coming together for a beach volleyball class!
­
After, we’ll return to Ipanema District for the evening, where you can gorge yourself on Brazilian BBQ, known as a ‘churrasco’. Prepare yourself for skewers upon skewers of various meats and vegetables, expertly grilled over open flames, to be continuously served to your table until you’re completely satisfied!

We’ll start the day early for an unforgettable visit to the Christ the Redeemer Statue, offering a peaceful experience and stunning views of both the statue and Rio, before the crowds arrive. Afterward, we’ll stop by a local café to enjoy a traditional Brazilian breakfast, featuring pão de queijo (cheese bread) and a strong coffee.
­
And the views don’t stop there… take the cable car to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, a striking granite peak renowned for its breathtaking vistas of the city and bay.
­
We’ll begin our last night together at a beach-side bar, where we’ll grab dinner as a group, before heading to a samba club to end the trip in style!

After a month and a half exploring the most incredible places in Central and South America, today your combo tour comes to an end. You’ll say goodbye to your fellow travellers, before beginning your journey home after a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
