Olimpia: Visit the birthplace of the famous Olympic Games. Delphi: At the foot of Mount Parnassos, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which was the most famous Oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second-most important archaeological site in Greece, after the Acropolis in Athens. Acropolis: Let the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens amaze you. Wander around the ruins and admire the beautiful views if the city. Acropolis Museum: Recognized as one of the top museums in the world, you’ll find yourself up close to the impressive marble masterpieces found on the Acropolis including dramatic sculptures and friezes that brilliantly define the Classical period of ancient Greece.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival Athens – Cape Sounio – Athens (140Km – 4Hrs)
Location: Athens

On your arrival at Athens Airport, you will be greeted by our English-speaking assistant and you will be taken to your Athens hotel in the comfort of an air-conditioned car. Athens has an array of amazing hotels, and this package has the cream of the crop, and we know you will thoroughly enjoy your one night stay in Athens. In the afternoon drive along the coastal road, passing the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni & Varkiza to the most Southern point of Attica, Cape Sounio, where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand. On the way, you have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the little islands offshore. After visiting the Temple of Poseidon, you have time to walk at leisure on the rocky promontory of Sounio. Return to your hotel.
Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 : Athens – Canal Of Corinth – Epidaurus – Nauplion – Mycenae – Olympia (390 Km – 5.5 Hrs)
Location: Archea Olimpia
Accommodation Name: Neda
Indulge in a delicious breakfast at the hotel before taking the coastal road to the Corinth Canal. Stop for a few moments and then drive towards the Theatre of Epidauros, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Afterwards, proceed to the town of Nauplion and stop to take some stunning photos. Continue driving towards Mycenae to visit the Archaeological Site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Dinner in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games.

Day 3 : Olympia – Delphi (250 Km – 4 Hrs)
Location: Delphi

Begin your day with a mouthwatering breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards visit the Archaeological Site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificent bridge that crosses the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea, and arrive in Delphi where a comfortable hotel room and a delicious dinner are waiting for you.
Overnight in Delphi.
Day 4 : Delphi – Athens (190 Km– 2.5 Hrs)
Location: Athens
Accommodation Name: Achilion
Have breakfast at the hotel and, early in the morning visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum. Enjoy a few hours of free time in Delphi before departing towards the village of Arachova, renowned for its colourful rugs and carpets. Return to Athens via Levadia and Thebes, arriving early in the evening. And in case you missed this on your first day, you have again the chance to enjoy an optional night out in Athens.

Day 5 : Departure Athens
Location: Athens
After breakfast and check out, leave your luggage at the reception and begin a memorable tour exploring the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896. Continue strolling and pass by the Prime Minister's residence ex-Royal Palace, guarded by the Euzones in their colourful uniform, see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis, visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts an order in the mind", the Parthenon. Afterwards, admire the wonders of the classical era at The New Acropolis Museum. In the afternoon transfer to Athens airport and continue with your travelling arrangements. Due to certain restrictions in the visiting hours of the new Acropolis Museum, the order of the program can be changed. Estimated arrival time at the airport at 04:00 pm, please arrange your departure flight accordingly.

Where should I buy the flights to reach my destination?
Today Voyages does not sell flights directly. None of our tours come with flights included. Why? Because we prefer to give full flexibility to our valued customers to select the airlines and the booking platform they prefer. As soon as your flight is booked and confirmed, we invite you to update your flight plan within your Today Voyages booking confirmation page by entering your flight number, departure and arrival times, as well as your Passport information (if needed). None of these fields are mandatory but we highly encourage you to provide as much information as possible. This will allow us to provide you with the excellent service you are looking for.

What is the difference between Group Vacations and Private Vacations?
If you purchase one of our Group vacation packages, you will be escorted by a professional tour guide and will be traveling with other like-minded travelers you may not know. The group size depends on the tour you select. If you purchase one of our Private vacation packages, you will be traveling only within your group of friends. You may or may not be escorted by a professional tour guide; this depends on the type of private tour you are interested in.

When and how will I receive the travel documents (vouchers)?
If you book one of our Group or Private tours, you will receive your travel documents via email approximately 20 days prior to travel date. If you reserve one of our Vacation Rentals, you will hear back from the property manager via email a few days prior to checking-in. We recommend checking your emails on a regular basis as this is our most reliable method of communication. If you have questions or need additional support, you can always chat with us or email us directly.

What happens if a Group tour does not get confirmed?
It is very simple... you will be offered an alternative departure date or be refunded the full amount you pre-paid. No questions asked!

What happens after I book?
The majority of our tours are confirmed at the time of booking. This means that, after submitting the payment online, you will receive an order confirmation email; make sure to save this email and to note down your confirmation number for any future communication with us. Some tours may be sold on a 'on request' basis. This means that for these tours we reserve the right to check the availability of your spot(s) with the Tour Operator before confirming the tour to you. As soon as you submit the payment online for a 'on request' tour you will receive an email notification that confirms your order request. Within 72 hours, you will receive either a confirmation email or a denial email. Do not worry... we will do everything we can to confirm your tour!
