Aït Benhaddou is a historic ighrem or ksar along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh in Morocco. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

The Ait Benhaddou ksar stands as an example of traditional Southern Moroccan architecture. It is the most famous ksar in the area – and possibly in all of Morocco – thanks to its appearance in several film productions. A UNESCO world heritage site, a visit to Ait Ben Haddou takes you back to another place and time.

The Ksar is a famous filming location for many movies, including Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Game of Thrones...

Two hours between visit this unique site and lunch, then we will continue to Ouarzazate, famous for its Cenima studios
As a optional visit, we can stop to visit these studios, otherway we can stop just for a picture.

We stop to visit this Kasbah depending on the season(April up to October).
Kasbah Amridil is a historic fortified residence or kasbah (tighremt in Amazigh) in the oasis of Skoura, in Morocco. It is considered among the most impressive kasbahs of its kind in Morocco and was previously featured on the Moroccan 50 dirham note.

The kasbah was originally founded in the 17th century. It initially consisted of a fortified village, a ksar, occupying a strategic location along the river and at the entrance to the Skoura palmeraie. Towards the end of the 19th century M'hamed Ben Brahim Nasiri, a faqih from a local privileged family living in the ksar (descendants of the family associated with the prestigious Zawiya Nasiriyya in Tamegroute, was chosen by Madani El Glaoui (older brother of Thami el Glaoui) to educate his sons in reading the Qur'an. As compensation, El Glaoui commissioned his craftsmen to build Nasiri a tighremt (fortified mansion) at the ksar.
You will enjoy amazing Roses Valley on the end of the day before you get the Dades Valley.
The Valley of the Roses has been carved by the Assif M’Goun river as it twists and turns its way down to the town of Kalaat M’Gouna. An exhilarating windy 30 km paved road runs alongside the river, with excellent views of the mesmerizing red rock / green valley combination.

Tinghir is an oasis about 30 kilometres (19 mi) long and about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) wide. The climate is arid subtropical: hot, dry winters in relation to altitude (1,430 metres (4,690 ft)). There are a few rainy days per year, with the greatest precipitation in fall and winter.

You will stop to enjoy this amazing Oasis, shoot amazing pictures, then continue to the famous Todra Gorges. The Moroccan grand canyon.
The Todgha Gorges are a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir.

The last 600 metres (1,969 ft) of the Todgha gorge are the most spectacular. Here the canyon narrows to a flat stony track, in places as little as 10 metres (33 ft) wide, with sheer and smooth rock walls up to 160 metres (525 ft) high on each side.

During the dry season, the canyon floor is mostly dry; at most there will be a small stream of water. During this time, the wadi floor is easily traversed by travelers. During the rainy season, however, the Todra can expand massively, covering the canyon floor in a strong torrent.

You will have some free time to walk and enjoy this amazing attraction. It's the best destination for rock climbers.

After lunch, we will reach the last big city after the Sahara desert, Erfoud. It is an oasis town in the Desert, where the the Ziz Valley and Todra Valley were merged. Erfoud know as the capital of both dates and fossils.

This area of Morocco has also been identified as being very similar in appearance and possibly geology to certain areas on the planet Mars. Because of this, there is an interest in this area as a field research location for Mars analogue research.

In February 2013 the Austrian Space Forum spent the whole month with a field team including two space suit simulators (Aouda.X and Aouda.S) and a number of rovers to conduct a large number of experiments. They were supported by a Mission Support Center run from Innsbruck, Austria to simulate a mission to the surface of Mars.
