Everest three high Passes is an 18-day adventure at the popular Everest region of Nepal that offers crossing through three high passes Kongma La, Cho La, and Renjo la along with the opportunity to be at Everest Base Camp and Kalapathher excellent viewpoint. We start our Everest Three Passes Trek by taking a short scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. We will then head towards Namche Bazaar - The Sherpa Capital, Tengboche, Dingboche, and Chhukung to cross the Kongma La pass to Lobuche. In this way, we will then push ourselves towards Gorak Shep, Everest base camp, and Kalapathher. It would be a great opportunity to witness the best of nature, culture, and adventure as we further cross Cho la pass and visit magical turquoise lakes of Gokyo, cross Renjola pass, and finally, trek back to Lukla via Lungden, Thame and Namche. From snow-capped panoramic views of glacier walks and beautiful lakes, it is a challenging trek that shows everything that the Khumbu region has to offer.

Day 1 : Arrival In Kathmandu (1,350M) & Transfer To Hotel.

Upon arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. From here you will be taken in a private vehicle to your hotel by Uma holidays Travels & Tours representative where you can rest or take a short walk around the Thamel area.
Day 2 : Fly To Lukla (2,804M) & Trek To Phakding (2,610M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

Today, early in the morning, we will pick you from your hotel and drive you to the Tribhuvan Domestic Airport in Kathmandu. A quick, 35-minute flight from Kathmandu will take you to Lukla (2,804m), the gateway to the Everest Base Camp, and the starting point of this trek. Walking through the Dudhkoshi River Valley, past various settlements such as Chheplung and Chaurikharka, before reaching Phakding Village. Enjoy great views of the mountains during the trek. It's a leisurely day with a gradual descend of approximately 200 meters from Lukla. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 3 : Trek From Phakding To Namche Bazaar (3,441 M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

After breakfast, we will follow the trail of the thundering Dudh Kosi River, cross numerous suspension bridges along the way. Trek past Monjo and Jorsalle villages until we reach Namche Bazaar (3,440m), a village in the mountains that is also the center of commerce in the Everest region. overnight stay at the Guesthouse.
Day 4 - Acclimatization Day At Namche Bazaar.

Today we have a rest day in Namche and allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude. You have the option to hike to the nearby areas. The trading and administrative center of the Khumbu region, Namche Bazaar is home to various government offices, banks, ATm, cyber, plenty of shops and eateries. One of the most interesting optional day hikes on our list is the one that takes you to Everest View Hotel, from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Everest and other Himalaya peaks, After enjoying some time at the viewpoint we trek down to Namche Bazaar for overnight stay.
Day 5 : Trek From Namche To Tengboche (3860M) Duration: 5-6 Hours.

We start our day with a quick ascend followed by a flat trail to reach Kyanjuma. Trek downhill from there to reach Phunki Tenga. Cross the Dudh Koshi River and climb up to reach Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Depending upon the weather and other factors, we might end your day in Tengboche or Pangboche.
Day 6 : Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4,350M) Duration: 4-5 Hours.

After having breakfast, we descend to Debuche before starting an uphill climb towards Pangboche Village. You can See Everest, Amadablam, and Nuptse mountains along the way. we will stop in Pangboche for tea before continuing to Dingboche for lunch. Trekking through the Imja Valley and cross Lobuche Stream before ascending to Dingboche (4,410m). We stay overnight at Teahouse.
Day 7 : Trek From Dingboche To Chhukung (4,700M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

From Dingboche, Today we will have second acclimatization day of the Everest three passes trek. We follow the acclimatization rules properly as we will today climb high and sleep low. On the clear weather day, excellent views of Amadablam, Lobuche, Thamserku, and other neighboring peaks can be seen. We trek to Chhukung for overnight stay.
Day 8 : Cross Konnma La Pass (5,520M) & Trek Down To Lobuche (4,910M) Duration: 8-9 Hours.

Among the three high passes of the Khumbu region, today early in the morning, we cross the first high pass of Kongma La at 5540 meters above sea level. Heading towards the west of Chhukung on the rocky path, we reach the Pokalde, further steeply walking across the Kongma La pass, After spending a some time at the top we trek down to Lobuche for overnight stay.
Day 9 : Trek From Lobuche To Everest Base Camp (5,364 M) & Back To Gorak Shep (5,180 M) Duration: 6-7 Hours

Today, The first part of the trail will take you to Gorakshep via the Khumbu Glacier. Drop your bags and enjoy your lunch in Gorakshep before heading to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,364m). The trail takes you through terrain strewn with rocks, moraines, streams, and a glacier. Arrive Everest Base Camp, located in the middle of the Khumbu Glacier we will spend some time at Base Camp and trek back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay. If the weather is good, we will hike up to Kala Patthar late in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset views. But it's not easy to cover Gorakshep, Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar on the same day. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 10 : Hike Up To Kala Patthar (5,550M) & Trek To Zonglha (4,830M) Duration: 8-9 Hours.

From Gorakshep, early in the morning we hike up to Kala Patthar this famous landmark located above Gorakshep, and enjoy amazing views of the mountains shining in the color of the morning sun. the view from on top of Mt. Kalapathar certainly makes up for it. You will stand in awe at the mountains that ring you in all directions. We will definitely take the time to take pictures up here. Set your camera on panorama mode and shoot the most amazing pictures you have ever taken! We will spend some time there before descending to Gorakshep. Grab your breakfast and start your trek downhill journey to Zonglha. Stay overnight at Teahouse.
Day 11 : Cross Cho La Pass (5,420M) & Trek Down To Thagnag (4,750M) Duration: 8-9 Hours.

Today, We will be crossing another high altitude of Cho La pass altitude at (5,420m) above the sea level. After a steep and difficult ascent through the rocky trails, we begin to climb the steep trail that leads us to Chola glacier that lets us walking through crevasse just below the pass. We enjoy the magnificent view of Ama Dablam, Kangtena, Thamserku, and Numbur on the Gokyo side. In this way crossing the long downhill walk through the hamlet, we arrive at Thangnak. We will spend our night at teahouse.
Day 12 : Trek From Thagnag To Gokyo (4,800M) Duration: 3-4 Hours.

After having breakfast, we start our day trekking through the lateral moraine of Ngozumpa glacier( One of the largest glacier in Nepal) and descend towards the glacier. Following the glacier moraine path, we visit exceptionally beautiful turquoise colored Gokyo lakes. We even get towards Scoundrel’s viewpoint to witness excellent views of the Everest Himalayan range along with Tibetan Himalayas too. It would be a magical sunset at Gokyo village. We will spend our night at Teahouse.
Day 13 : Hike Up To Gokyo Ri (5,483M) And Back To Gokyo And Explore Fourth And Fifth Lake.

Today we weak up early in the morning to hike up Gokyo Ri, the aerial view of the Himalayas cradling the Gokyo Lake is absolutely eye-popping. We have yet two more lakes to encounter and explore. The panoramic views of the Himalayas will leave you in awe. Also get a chance to view the largest glacier in the world, Ngazumpa glacier. We trek down to Gokyo for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Cross Renjo La Pass (5,360M) & Trek Down To Lungden (4,370M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Today, early in the morning, we make our way towards the third and final pass of Renjo La Pass altitude at 5,360m above the sea level . We cross the steep sandy bridge and cross a river stream that mostly remains frozen. While being there at Renjo La Pass, we get plenty of opportunities to spot magnificent views of Himalayan panoramas which higher than 7000 to 8000 meters high. We will then gradually trek down through the slippery trails. Enjoying the beautiful alpine atmosphere, we finally arrive at Lungdenfor overnight stay.
Day 15 : Trek From Lungden To Namche (3,440M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

After having breakfast, we will trek through the easy downhill trail towards the lower altitude. We will further head towards Bhotekoshi. Then we will head towards Langmuche Ri and cross through Thame, the trail will then trade towards Tibetan traders for more than hundred Sherpa villages, we will trek further towards settlement. We will enjoy the Tibetan caravans, Khampas, which is the trading route to Namche and Tibet. After passing through a check post through hydroelectric power station built with Austrian help. Then after crossing the Laudo monastery. We will finally arrive at Namche for an overnight stay.
Day 16 : Trek From Namche To Lukla (2,804 M) Duration: 6-7 Hours.

Today is a long day on a downhill trail awaits you. The last day of EBC trek is full of steep descends along the Dudh Kosi River until you reach Phakding village for lunch. From Phakding, then we climb up to reach Lukla for overnight stay.
Day 17 : Fly From Lukla To Kathmandu (1350M) Duration: 30 Minutes Flight.

Today we will catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel.
