Day 1 : Arrival at Chennai

On the day of arrival at Chennai airport, UncleSam Holidays representative will assist you for transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 2 : At Chennai

Location: Chennai

Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour to Chennai, visit the famous Marina Beach (the second largest in the world), Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Fort St.George (the oldest fort in Chennai). Thereafter, head straight to Santhome Cathedral, National Art Gallery, St.Mary’s Church, Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Birla Planetarium and People’s Park. Also visit Kalakshetra and Theosophical Society.

Day 3 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram - Chennai (230 Kms / 6 Hrs)

After breakfast later drive to Kanchipuram the city of 1000 temples and one of the seven sacred cities in India, visit the Kamakshi Amman Temple, The Kanchi Kailasanathar temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple. Ekambareswarar Temple etc. Later continue drive to sightseeing tour to Mahabalipuram, visit the Thirukadalmallai, Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Arjuna's Penance, Caves, and Krishna's Butterball. Later back to Chennai for night stay.

Day 4 : Chennai - Madurai (By Flight)

Upon arrival at Madurai airport, our representative will assist you at airport for transfer to your hotel for night stay. After refresh yourself, later proceed for tour to Madurai, visit Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, one of the largest temple complex in India. later visit Thirupparamkunram Murugan, Pazhamudircholai Murugan, and Alagar Kovil Temple. Also visit the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace and Gandhi Museum. Rest of the day free for your own leisure activities.

Day 5 : Madurai - Munnar (170 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast and check out from hotel later drive to Munnar “Scenic hills of Kerala” and en-route enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls of Kerala, with high mountains and the low flying clouds passing by. Day 6 : At Munnar

Day 7 : Munnar - Periyar (98 Km/3:30 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast at the Hotel, check out from the Hotel and drive to Periyar. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of biggest wildlife sanctuaries in India's which covers 777 Sq. Km (300 Sq. miles) for a Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar check into the Hotel for night stay. Later proceed for short trip to Periyar, visit Bamboo Rafting & Border Hiking.

Day 8 : Periyar - Alleppey (128 Kms / 3:30 Hrs)

Location: Alappuzha

Today morning after breakfast at the Hotel, later check out from the Hotel and proceed for the backwaters to enjoy the houseboat journey for day and night. Upon arrival at Alleppey check into the houseboat for night stay. Later proceed for backwaters & lagoons on Alappuzha, later lunch at the houseboat. Enjoy the evening with dinner at the houseboat and rest of the day and night at the houseboat.

Day 9 : Alleppey - Kochi (55 Kms / 2 Hrs)

After breakfast at the Hotel, later check out from the Hotel and proceed for the Kochi. Upon reaching Kochi check-in to your pre-booked hotel. After refresh yourself, later proceed for guided tour of Kochi. Visit Fort Kochi, Marine Drive, Hill Palace, St.Francis Church, Dutch Palace, Pareekshith Thampuran Museum, Pallipuram Fort, Santa Cruz Basilica, Bolgatty Island, Indo Portuguese Museum. Will the accommodation included meet local health and safety regulations?

We select our hotels for their quality, impeccable service and comfort, with the majority of them having air-conditioning. Few hotels don't have air conditioning due to the colder climate.
How much luggage can I bring?

You can bring one suitcase per person and weight not exceeding 23 kg (50 lbs) due to the limited space on the coach. You can also bring one piece of hand luggage, provided it is small enough to take on the coach and does not have telescopic handles.
Are the travel guides experience?

Our Travel Guides come from a variety of backgrounds but they all share a passion for travel. These experienced professionals show you what the guidebooks can’t – a true insider’s perspective of each destination. Each Travel Guide have at least five years’ experience under their belt.
What if I have special dietary requirements?

We can accommodate guests who are vegetarian and can assist with diabetic, gluten-free and other medically-recommended diets. Please advise us at time of booking. Unfortunately, we’re unable to supply meals in accordance with strict religious requirements. We can’t provide salt-free, Kosher, Halal, requests for specific dietary supplements such as soya milk, and high protein or low-carb meals.
Will I need a visa?

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your guided holiday. Depending on your nationality, you may need visas to enter certain countries included on your trip. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to your departure. It is strongly advised that you consult your Travel Agent and the local Consulate or Embassy of the country you are visiting well in advance to determine which visas they require and how to obtain them.
Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that all guests have a travel insurance policy to ensure your peace of mind before and while travelling. It's important that you protect yourself in case of trip cancellations, an interruption for any reason, baggage delays or loss of baggage and medical expenses.
