Make your own way to the hotel in Beaune. Beaune is an exquisite French town, a source of art and history. It is home to the famous Hotel-Dieu and Wine Museum. Beaune has many shops, cafe-studded squares and a huge outdoor market. It is definitely worth spending some time exploring. You will receive your bikes today or tomorrow morning.
Day 2 : Round Cycle To Cote De Nuits (58Km/36Mi)

An excursion devoted to discovering the famous wine area “Côte de Nuits”. Here the dominant grape variety is Pinot Noir, from which the splendid red Burgundy is made. You'll find Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanée and the most expensive wine of Burgundy, Romanée Conti. You will also appreciate famous sights such as the Château du Clos Vougeot or the Château of Gevrey Chambertin. Overnight in Beaune.

Day 3 : Cycle Via The Cote De Beaune To Chassay-Le-Camp (44Km/27Mi)

Today's cycle takes you via the prestigious white wine vineyards of the “Côte de Beaune", where prestigious white wines such as Meursault and Montrachet are made from the Chardonnay grape. First you will visit the historic Château Savigny-les-Beaune, then cycle along famous wine villages like Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet. An easy route takes you to Santenay, before reaching Chassey-le-Camp on the “Canal du Centre” cycle path.

Day 4 : Cycle Via Chagny And Vineyards To St Boil (43Km/26.7Mi)

Cycle along the "Voie Verte", a former railway track, among the undulating vineyards of the "Côte Chalonnaise". You can take a look at the Chateau de Rully, just before arriving in Mercurey. Here you can stop and visit a local wine producer, and sample a glass of "Mercurey" red wine. Cycle through vineyards via Buxy, a typical medieval town, to your hotel.

Day 5 : Cycle Via Chateau De Cormatin To Cluny (28 Or 38Km/17.5 Or 23.5Mi)

Continuing along the "Voie Verte" you can admire the beautiful landscapes of southern Burgundy. Today's treasures include the Chateau de Cormatin and its gardens, unique in France for its exceptionally well-preserved interiors from the reign of Louis XIII (1628). This stage concludes in the beautiful town of Cluny, known for its prominent town ramparts and Roman Abbey founded in the 10th century.

Day 6 : Cycle To Tournus (59Km/36.6Mi)

On the last day of cycling the terrain becomes hillier until you reach Europe's longest underpass. On the other side is the majestic fortress Berze-le-Chatel, surrounded by “Mâconnai”’ vineyards. In Mâcon you cross the beautiful bridge Saint Laurent then follow the “Voie Bleue” route along the banks of the Sâone. You pass charming villages built around the typically Roman churches and eventually reach medieval Tournus.

Most of our self guided trips are priced based on twinshare. If you are travelling solo the single traveller surcharge will apply. The single supplement would apply if you were travelling in a party with others and you had chosen to book a single room. You would never pay a single traveller surcharge and a single supplement.

UTracks allows you to transfer existing payments to a future tour to avoid cancellation fees if you can't travel and inform utracks, 70 days before departure.

Low Deposit
UTracks requires a minimum deposit of 250 GBP per person or the full booking value, whichever is less, with the final balance not due until 70 days before departure.

Cancellation Policy
We don't charge a cancellation fee, here is a summary of utracks charges.
Up to 70 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of deposit.
At 69 days before tour starts: Forfeit 50% of booking price.
At 35 days before tour starts: Forfeit 100% of booking price.
