The trail takes you to the Valley of the Muvrella (mouflons – a type of wild sheep) and its small lake. The viewpoints are numerous and are particularly impressive from the passes. You will arrive at the foot of Monte Cinto, the highest summit of Corsica, where you will spend the night.

This trip requires a good to excellent level of fitness and you should be an experienced hiker, comfortable in alpine terrains through varying weather conditions. It is a requirement of participation that you are able to orient yourself in mountains with a map scaled to 1/25000th. The trip involves 4.5 to 8.5 hiking hours per day on sometimes difficult trails.

Most of our self guided trips are priced based on twinshare. If you are travelling solo the single traveller surcharge will apply. The single supplement would apply if you were travelling in a party with others and you had chosen to book a single room. You would never pay a single traveller surcharge and a single supplement.

The GR20 North and South is a tough trip. I am so glad we decided on u-tracks to do this trip as we did not have to carry heavy packs. All of our accommodation and transportation was well sorted. We had a amazing trip, Corsica is really stunning to hike. You do need to be trail fit for this hike, it is a must do for any keen hikers.
