Machulo La trek is the most affordable, easiest, and short scheduled trek for viewing the K2, Gasherbrum range’s mountains, and some other mountains of Karakorum’s range. In addition, there are exciting views of District Ghanche her Glaciers, and the very natural beauty of the Panoramic view of Karakoram mountains from Machulo la trek. Machulo La trek is the Best and short place with suitable conditions for national and international Trekkers, for university students’ trips, etc. Having just a view of K-2 required three days of walking. Visit in Pakistan treks, tours and expeditions have developed an itinerary to have a glimpse of the mighty mountain just after the two-day walk from the town of Machulo. MAIN ATTRACTIONS Gilgit Baltistan is the most peaceful place in Pakistan. Machulo la trek is the shortest and easiest way to view most of the mightiest peaks of Karakoram and Himalayas in a single glance such as K2, (8,611m), Broad Peak (8,047m) Gasherbrum I (8,068m) Gasherbrum-II (8,035m) Gasherbrum III (7,952m) Gasherbrum IV (7,925m) K7 (6,942m) K6 (7,282) Nanga Parbat (8,125m) and many other nameless peaks Machulo La trek starts from Machulu Village, a distant viewpoint for Masherbrum peak (7821m), from there a gradual ascend of two days will bring us to the summer pastures. Upper portions of the valley are dotted with shepherd hunts, raising cows, goats, and yaks. If you are fortunate enough you might have a sight of ibex and other wildlife. Once on the top, you will be able to see all the big four peaks, K-2, Gashebrums, and Broad peaks. Day 2 : Traveling Over Karakorum Highway

Day 2: drive to Gilgit 14 to 16 hrs
we will start the drive to Gilgit travelling for 14-16 hrs via Babusar Pass 4173m. Babusar Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4173 m.(13,691 ft) above sea level. The pass is the highest point in the Kaghan Valley, Pakistan. The pass connects the Kaghan Valley via the Thak Nala with Chilas on the Karakoram Highway. It’s one of the famous hair-pinned roads in the world. Karakorum high way is the 8th wonder of the world. The Karakorum Highway was constructed jointly by the Chinese and Pakistanis, begun in the 1960s, and finally constructed in 1976,s as a link road between Pakistan and China. It is an engineering wonder, but at the cost of many lives.

Day 3 : Skardu The Land Of Beauty
Location: Gilgit, Kharphocho Fort, Skardu Ki View, Skardu

Drive from Gilgit to Skardu via Baltistan Highway or we can call Gilgit Skardu Road along with Indus River 8-9hrs 290km. The rising of Indus stretches down to Baltistan valley from Tibet to Gilgit and down to the Arabian Sea, which cuts the Indian subcontinent from Asia; Baltistan valley is called a little Tibet in the North of Pakistan. Baltistan is situated at the east end of Himalayas, beside Deosai Plain and Satpara Lake. Baltistan is the tourist destination of Mountains paradise where the world’s 2nd highest peak is K-2 (8611-m) and the other 8000m are Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II Likely 8068 to 8047m and there are many peaks 7750- 7800m. Its snow-capped peaks and long glaciers give you a spectacular view for climbers, trekkers, and travellers.
In the evening we will have a short hike to Kharphocho Fort and Skardu Main Market.
Day 4 : Deosai National Park And Camping

Pass By: Deosai National Park, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan Drive to Deosai Plateau 40km, overnight in tents The Deosai National Park is a high-altitude alpine plain and national park in northern Pakistan. It is located largely within Skardu District in Gilgit Baltistan. Deosai Plains are situated at an average elevation of 4,114 meters (13,497 ft) above sea level. The Deosai National Park was established in 1993 to protect the survival of the Himalayan brown bear and its habitat. Having long been a prize kill for poachers and hunters, the bear now has a hope for survival in Deosai where its number has increased from only 19 in 1993 to 40 in 2005. During the last decade, a few but effective measures have been taken by the Government of Pakistan for the survival of brown bears in the region. In 1993, the Himalayan Wildlife Project was founded with substantial financial support from international environmental concerns. But the brown bear is still under threat. The Deosai Plains are also home to the Himalayan ibex, red fox, golden marmot (locally called Phia), gray wolf, the Ladakh urial, the snow leopard, and over 124 residents and migratory birds. Birds in the park include the golden eagle, lammergeier, griffon vulture, laggard falcon, peregrine falcon, kestrel, sparrowhawk, and snow cock.
Day 5 : Deosai To Khaplu Machulo

Pass By: Felix Guest House Drive to Machulo by jeeps 8-10 hrs, 153 km. Altitude 2700m. Overnight in Hotel. The Hushe Valley is a valley in Ghanche district Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan. Hushe valley is famous for its highest mountains. There are many sub-valleys which are Gondogoro, Charkusa, Nagma, Nanbroq, and Masherbrum. This valley surrounds several peaks above six thousand meters including Laila peak, K6, K7. Murtaza peak is 5100m just behind K6 Basecamp and is considered the epicenter of trackers and beginners. The Hushe Valley runs from Masherbrum Mountain (at 7,821 meters, 24th highest in the world) south to the Shyok River, opposite Khaplu. Hushe valley is one of the beautiful valleys of the Ghanche districts. The staying place Machulo is a village of this valley falls at 2nd after Saling while going from Skardu. Historic Mosque, Channel and street walk, river view side, Mashabrum Viewpoint are some places to enjoy the stay at very nearest distances.
Day 6 : Trekking To Camp I
Location: K2 view point Machulo La, Felix Guest House

Pass By: Felix Inurrategi Foundation Baltistan Machulo Camp I (Khadi Broq) starts from Felix Guest House in the morning after a relaxed breakfast. The 3-4 hours walk by the mainstream of the town Machulo. A little bit steep but very easy to hike. Stay at 3200m above sea level and in camping.
Day 7 : Camping Day 2
Location: K2 view point Machulo La

Day 7: Camp II (Qouli Brangsa)
Pass By: Camp I, Khadi Broq The 2nd camp track is also very easy to hike but a little bit steeper than the first day. It carries you step by step towards a higher altitude. The camping area is quite near to the place where the local people of Machulo stay with their cattle. They produce butter and cheese on daily basis. A unique experience to meet with them and see cows, sheep, and local cows (Zomo). 4150m altitude over there at Camp II.
Day 8 : K2 View Point

Day 8: Machulo La K2 View Point
Pass By: K2 Mountain, Gilgit-Baltistan You will have the stay over 5200m altitude at Camp III K2 viewpoint Machul La trek. The hike is steep, easy, and over the green pastures. On the way, we will see some wild animals (if we are lucky), local animals (Yak, Zomo), sheep, goats, cows, and birds. Each and every step towards the viewpoint gives you glimpses and exposing peaks of Karakorum. A viewpoint is a fantastic place to camp over there. There you can see K2, G-I, G-II, G-Iv, Broad Peak, Mashabru, Nanagma Valley, Amin Braq, Khaney valley peaks, Siachen Glacier & Valley view, Chorbat Valley (Ladakh Region), Khaplu district. Hanjour Pasture, Barah Valley, Nanga Parbat, Kargil Region (Kharman Skardu Side), Machulo Town, River Indus and Shyiok, Saling Valley. Panoramic view at your four sides 360 views. Photography, video making, camping, night view of Stars on clear sky, and Spring waters are amazing to view and experience over there.
Day 9 : Back To Machulo
Location: K2 view point Machulo La, Felix Guest House

Pass By: Felix Guest House Back to Machulo hotel from K2 Viewpoint Machulo la trek in 6 hours easy descend. There we can have a hot shower and relax the wifi to connect with friends and family.
Day 10 : Skardu
Location: Khaplu, Shigar, Felix Guest House, Katpana Desert, Skardu

Day 11 - 12 : Fly Back To Islamabad
