This trip involves trekking, walking, kayaking and cycling for up to five or six hours a day at a slow but steady pace. Introductory should never be misinterpreted to mean an easy trip. You will need a reasonable level of fitness and good health.
In preparation we suggest 30 minutes of aerobic type exercise, (either cycling or jogging) three times a week for three months leading up to your trip. Also try hill walking with a daypack in variable weather conditions. Expect the climate in Cambodia to be hot and humid. If travelling during the monsoon season (see Country Information section below) rain is very likely. The cycling paths are mostly flat and we recommend that you cycle as part of your general routine prior to departure. Remember the fitter you are the more it will enhance your adventure. ...more ...less

A sensible blend of the three activities, Hiking, Paddling and Cycling. All seemed to go to plan and the crew were interesting and informative. They even were able to stop the rain on our cycle / paddle trip to Tonle Sap lake.

All the activities for this trip were great. Only few negatives would be hotel in Siem Reap where shower wasn't the best - water lukewarm and hardly any pressure. Would have been better if more meals were included in the program.

All was organized very well and the guides were awesome. The only issue I found was that some of the itinerary was not followed because the guide decided the traffic was too heavy or it was too hot. This was in relation to the cycling. When the itinerary says 40ks, thats what I am paying for. There were too many temples attended to and some of the hikes were a bit boring. ...more ...less
