Day 1 : Fishing

Check-in to the yacht in Tromsø at 10:00am. Settle into your cabins and go over the weekend plan with the captain according to the weather. Depart from Tromsø harbor at 11:00 am to start fishing for the day. Lunch will be served after departure. After several hours of fishing, the yacht will dock at a harbor for the night, where you can enjoy your fresh caught fish for dinner, then go for an evening walk.
Day 2 : Fishing
Location: Stedjelandet
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks, Dessert
After breakfast, you'll cruise out again for your second day of fishing. Relax on the top deck, watch for sea eagles and whales while cruising to the next fishing spot. We’ll explore various fishing spots depending on the winds, tides and sea state. Your World Sea Explorers fishing trip ensures an authentic fishing experience - out in the deep water, exposed to wind and sea, hours of jigging and a very high probability of a big catch. There is no better way to experience deep sea fishing than onboard a luxury yacht captained by a local Norwegian who knows all the best places and can share the traditional fishing techniques and stories with you. Sleep cozy in berths, enjoy gourmet, locally sourced meals, and warm up in the outdoor hot tub as you look for the northern lights.
Day 3 : Fishing
Location: Tromsø, Torsvåg Lighthouse
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks
Your last day of open sea fishing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served onboard with a coffee bar and snacks available all day. Family and friends who do not participate in fishing can enjoy the incredible scenery outside or relax in the warm interior saloon with blankets, a book, playing cards, or electronic entertainment. Enjoy the scenery of the Troms region before for your return journey home. Pack up the fish you caught or have the crew donate it to the local elders. Disembarkation in Tromsø at 15:00 (3pm).

The yacht is a breathtaking sight under sail and features intricate design and rich, highly crafted steel and wood work that reveals magnificent craftsmanship. Stella Oceana is a certified passenger ship and has an ice classification of 1c. The unique design of the ship allows you to explore the more remote islands and fjords in the arctic that are not easily accessible to ships of a similar size or larger. The ship offers a safe and comfortable holiday experience with large communal living spaces for small groups.
Cabin Arrangements: 2 twin bunk cabins & 1 four berth bunk cabin for a total of 8 guests. All cabins are equipped with spacious closets, adjustable heating, a window, warm duvets, linens and towels.

Sailing on Stella Oceana gives you peace and comfort to relax and feel safe because the boat is so strong and heavy. It was made to go in the ice and is extremely steady in rough weather. With only 8 guests, there is ample space for everyone (including high ceilings in the saloon), and compared to smaller sailboats, you can walk around inside and on the decks normally without feeling crammed.
